I am sorry you got hurt. But, sometimes you just have to do what you have to do and if you need a wheelchair to get around, then you have to pay for it. The wheelchairs are rented by a third party and they set the rates. Also, there are strict rules for how far a HAL employee can take a passenger in the terminal. I believe these rules are set by the port authority and not the cruise line.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Club Orange on the Rotterdam. The service was excellent and I never had to wait for a table for 2.

If you can't get cc, ask your room steward. They usually know what to do.

You can go to "settings" to put the closed caption on for the TV channels. Only about half of the movies had cc.

I hope so. Shore excursions cancelled our Stavenger and Surroundings tour a month ago and now they finally have a few tours uploaded. But the Stavenger and Surroundings tour is sold out. How can that be when it just got listed? And there are very few tours available.

The old Westerdam used to have 7 & 8 day Caribbean "oldies" cruises with great performers from the 50s & 60s. This was probably around 1999 and 2000. They were great.

It seems to me that the twin beds in the Neptune Suite were a little wider than the twins in the Signature Suite on the Vista and Signature class ships. But, there wasn't that much difference.

Do they charge sales tax if you preorder? I remember in the old days they would wait until the ship was at sea to run the charges for the wine packages so you didn't have to pay sales tax.

How are the piano players in Billboard? There have been some who are excellent and some not so much.

I think it would be highly unusual for someone to be admitted to the Pinnacle Grill for breakfast who does not have a right to be there. They are very strict about it.

Well, there is no harm in calling. Did you receive a written confirmation when you booked the cruise? Do you still have a copy of the original offer?

Military credits have been available on Holland America for the past couple of years.

You have to be careful. You don't know how many guarantee cabins they have booked. For example, even though they are showing 19 available cabins, 18 might be guarantees and after one more is booked they could all disappear.

But I thought the Amazon Legendary Cruise didn't start until February 17. That's why I asked what it would be doing between February 3 and February 17.

It's like night and day. Why not make the change and then, hopefully, a better deal will come along and you can get the price adjusted?

The chilled soups seem to be available on the current world cruise.
