  1. I recall you now. We have never used it for lunch and was just curious about that. Thanks.
  2. You can sign any device into either account - one account first, then the other.
  3. Not only would that likely be less expensive, you can select a wine of preference versus that which may be offered by Celebrity. You can also give them two if you want, or keep the second for you.
  4. Hopefully these experiences are not a sign of things to come. As I indicated we have done this, as you also suggest, many times in the past and were able to successfully do this on Oasis for NYE. (In fact we were able to share the benefit with traveling companions who are Diamond - they just split the cost with us and we both equally benefited). But our next RCCL cruise is not until October 2025. Guess we'll see then. It would be a shame if this is changing as that flexibility IMO is what has made the bogo most worthwhile in the past.
  5. It can be a hassle. Especially when you are combining a dining package with the bogo. We always head to one of the SR's soon after boarding and have that maître d take care of our reservations for the week. May just depend on the maître d at the time and his ability to manage and balance things. I guess we've been fortunate as we have not had issues with the bogo.
  6. We pay for the full bogo with the first reservation on day one or two and they then schedule the second night for any later day. They have never required us to do both on day one and two. We have done this many times without a problem. The key is having the bogo for both of us charged in full to our account with the first reservation. At least that is how we have always done it, the most recent with our NYE cruise this year on Oasis. I am not challenging your experience, only telling you ours.
  7. That was exactly as the couple we encountered regarding Barbados explained it. Two full cruises were required to be paid for so that a stateroom would be assigned to them for both cruises, even though it would be occupied one one way between San Juan and Barbados on each cruise. They explained that this was their honeymoon and they wanted a two week holiday that would combine a cruise and a week in Barbados. The purchase of two cruises, the first to get them there and the second to complete the round trip, was how they accomplished it.
  8. Yes - they want the first reservation made for night one or two, but the second can be any other day during the week. That day one or two option helps when you also have a dining package and need to balance both first dining reservations.
  9. I am not familiar with that and as I indicated, I only read on another similar thread where a poster indicated they had used the BOGO for lunch as well. But that is the first I had heard of it and it does raise a question as the T's & C's say to be used for dinner. Maybe others can confirm.
  10. I was a bit confused as well and to add, Eclipse comes to Boston after completing her Bermuda itineraries from Cape Liberty just for the August and September itineraries I indicated.
  11. They will move you to any same sub-category stateroom as that assigned based on availability. You just have to contact whomever you booked through and they will confirm availability. Once moved, that is you new stateroom and an updated booking confirmation will be issued to reflect that. Have done that several times including last week.
  12. I doubt they are changing the shows. Hairspray is the Broadway based show and they typically only change those when the ship is in drydock. The Aqua Theater and Ice shows also are long running. Not sure why they are not showing, however.
  13. Eclipse has 11 night Boston closed loop Canada cruises in August and September. She then repositions to Port Everglades, FL for closed loop Southern Caribbean cruises from there.
  14. It is a 30% discount on WiFi packages and upgrades and 90 complimentary premium minutes. Yes, you sign up on board to create a WiFi account.
  15. They are typically around 7 and 9 PM, +/- based on actual early and late dining times on board. But they, as you will recall, dovetail the production shows with the dining times. And the shows run about 45 minutes or so, typically. I'm sure others can correct me and give you more accurate information.
  16. Once its assigned they won't change it. But as I indicated, based on availably the OP can request a change to a different location, same category.
  17. If by surprise you mean an upgrade, that is not likely. GTY assignments can come at any time but once assigned, that is your stateroom. You indicate that it is a category and I guess a location you are OK with. But just so you are aware, if the location is not to your liking, you can contact whomever you booked through and they can confirm remaining availability of the assigned sub-category which was assigned and move you to a different location. This is of course based on remaining availability when you call.
  18. That may be but you likely are not getting it from their commission. The cruise line sponsored OBC with group based fare bookings is separate. The TA may in fact offer something more in addition to that out of his commission if they so wish, but the OBC would not be based on that.
  19. Just for clarity, the OBC they are providing is likely based on one form or another of a group cruise rate available only through TA's, either sponsored by the TA or directly by the cruise line. The cruise lines do not publish these rates to the general public. That certainly is one advantage of using a TA. That is the most common source of OBC available these days other than with on board bookings.
  20. Hooked is not included per the posted exclusion list.
  21. If once you board the cabin card does not reflect your correct status, just have your account number(s) with you and go to Guest Services and they can assist in having it corrected. Worst case you may have to talk with the Captain Club rep on board, but it can be corrected so that you will receive your full benefits and cruise points. Just to add, with the recent RCCL / Celebrity benefit reciprocity realignment, your issue may be that they are still catching up internally with upcoming cruises booked prior to the conversion date of June 5. On our recent Eclipse cruise, our planner and check in process did not show this correctly with us, but our cards were correct when we boarded.
  22. Similar situation, but different island and departure port. A number of years ago we met a couple on an RCCL ship who departed San Juan with us, but disembarked in Barbados to spend a week there to reboard the same ship on it's next itinerary to return to San Juan. They explained they had permission from both RCCL and the Barbados officials to do so, and were required to pay for two full cruises in order to complete the round trip. We had to take them at face value as we watched them depart the ship in Barbados with their suitcases. So at least at one time, yes, you could do that.
