I'm a retired Navy Supply Officer, and the numbers of provisions we would buy on the local economy of wherever in the world our ship happened to be were staggering.

There are usually strategically located restrooms on each deck as well. Not sure about gender neutral ones though. Maybe on the newer ships?

You know I thought I might be asked that question. And I believe they were being offered (for sale) at one time when we were printing out luggage tags, but I can't find them anymore now. There are other options and styles available online now though.

Your first mistake is your logic in thinking the brands would be similar in any regard, much less their pizza offerings.

Maybe a condensed 'Reader's Digest' version of this is on order? Personally, I lost you after the first paragraph. Forgive me, I went to public school, and my my comprehension skills are therefore limited. 😏

You kinda keep referring to Carnival as a comparison to HAL experiences... most recently here, regarding pizza quality. Are you a closet Carnival fan? If so, then you're on the wrong board.. Lol 😄

I would go further and say that they're never enforced.

Which pizza are you referring to, and on which ships? To us, there is a huge difference in taste and quality between the pizza typically served in the Lido buffet on most ships (so-so), and the pizza offered at the NY Pizza (Signature Class) and NY Pizza/Deli (Pinnacle Class) venues which we find to be very good to excellent.

These types of events are only available to sign up for after boarding the ship, and are not available to book via HAL's website in advance. See response to #1. Shore excursions typically become available ~6-9 mos out, so you have a few more months to go. I tried to answer your questions (embedded in your post above), but others can add to (or correct) my responses.

Have to say that I did warn everybody when CruiserN1first brought it up, that this could turn into yet another chair hogging thread. 😏
