  1. A few years ago we rented a cabana for the day at Labadee. We were told to go to the information center on Labadee to be given our cabana number and directions to walk there or take the tram. When we got to the information center there was only one person there and they had no idea how to direct us. It took the employee over 45 minutes to find someone to get our cabana number assignment. We really enjoyed the cabana and service and all included, however the wait was frustrating - wasting valuable time. Can anyone tell me if this procedure has been simplified?? Do you still report to the information center to get your cabana or bungalow assignment. We have reserved a bungalow this time (due to pricing increase of cabana). If anyone has rented a bungalow - please advise and post any pics as well - love Columbus Cove - do these take lots of beach space away? Please post how your experience with a bungalow has been.

  2. Looks great - love those large windows at balcony! A few years ago we had breakfast daily at Cagneys as perk of suite. Is that still offered - someone said no longer there?? We also could have lunch there was great!

  3. Booked this suite for Panama Canal for nice front balcony view. If anyone has stayed in this suite and has pics please post -- would greatly appreciate. Any tips about this cabin - we have a butler right? even though we are not a Haven suite.

  4. We have often purchased the thermal spa for length of cruise.. This time we have extra on board credit - therefore do not wish to purchase before hand. Does concierge save a few spots for suite guests to purchase once onboard? We were lucky enough to get a suite this time. Thanks for any information.

  5. We have sailed mostly from Cape Liberty not needing air. We will be sailing from Miami - is it easy to get cabs from airport to hotel, hotel to pier, and pier to airport again? Would it be better to prearrange car service ahead of time - TA suggested that - not sure what cost we be vs. cab. Please advise what works best for you - worried about disembarking and getting to airport by 10:30. Thanks for any advice. There will be 4 of us with pretty much luggage.

  6. A few years ago when we sailed on the Summit and Eclipse, every night on the menu there were options of chicken, salmon, or steak if nothing suited on the regular menu. ALSO, shrimp cocktail was an option EVERY night of the cruise. Is this still the case?? Thank you!

  7. I found a soda package on NCL website. I did NOT see a nonalcoholic package which includes sodas, fresh OJ, virgin frozen drinks, specialty coffees, bottled water, etc. Does NCL have a nonalcoholic package like some other lines or just the soda package? Thanks for any information.

  8. Does anyone know who the current cruise director is on Summit? Any opinions? Sailing end of month to Bermuda - was curious if it might be someone we sailed with previously. Thanks -

  9. Looking at menus posted - many nights there are several entrees I would like. Other nights - hard selecting one (sorry - just being honest). Friends of ours were allowed to order from MDR menu if that was the case when they sailed Summit. I would only do this probably 2 nights - but wondering if this was still an option. Thank you for your response!

  10. I noticed Coastal Kitchen for dinner is included with Junior Suite, and Coastal Kitchen for all meals for all other suites. We are traveling with 6 people and only wife and I in suite. Will we be able to have a table in regular MDR - took cruise to spend time with our friends?? How does this work?

Also, does this now mean that a junior suite is really considered a suite under new program? Will junior suite passengers also get a gold card and NOT have to make reservations for shows like other suite guests?

    Thanks for any specific information.

  11. Anyone stay in this cabin? Looks like a nice size balcony - concern is below on deck 5 there is no cabin - just a blank space - does anyone know what is in this area? any noise? any negatives about this cabin - please give any detailed opinions if you have stayed in this cabin - balcony pics especially appreciated. Thank you!

  12. I thought I read somewhere that the MDR on Allure and Oasis were split up into smaller areas to start Dynamic Dining (like Quantum and Anthem). Then a decision was made to NOT have Dynamic Dining on these ships. If the larger MDR was split into Chic, American Icon, Grand, and Silk -- which dining room handles the Traditional 6 pm seating? Allure had such a beautiful huge dining area when we sailed before - shame to split it - if in fact that is true. Anyone sailed recently and have this information? Thank you so much!
