  1. 1. Can one return a rental car at this location before embarking?

    2. Can we get one way transportation to airport from ship from Disney or is it easier to just get a cab to Orlando airport? cost involved?

    Thank you!

  2. Will ALL ports of call to Belize now go to this location? We are booked on a Panama Canal cruise in March of 2017 and Belize is one port of call. Since we have visited there before - we were hoping we would go to this new location? Our ports of call still just list Belize City - if anyone has inside information on this please let us know. I called NCL and the rep had no idea if our port of call to Belize City would be changed or not? She just said maybe - who knows? Sometimes cruises get inside information while cruising that the reps are not even aware of - sometimes this information is correct, and then again sometimes, just a rumor.

  3. We were scheduled to take a 10 day cruise on Grandeur in January. Due to a huge snowstorm, the ship did not get to Baltimore till Monday (we were supposed to leave on Sunday). Our 10 day cruise now became a 9 day cruise. We were all given 10 Crown and Anchor points as though we all only had a 9 day cruise - we thought this was most kind and fair. We actually got 20 points since we were in a junior suite. Cruise fare for the day lost including port taxes and gratuities - were returned for the lost day as OBC. Also, anyone who had a beverage package was refunded for one day, as well.

  4. When sailing Allure or Oasis - if you book extremely early,do they allow you to select the dining room you wish to use for the entire cruise. I know they all serve the menu, but for a special celebration cruise we would just prefer Grande of Chic? It will certainly not ruin the cruise if assigned to another room, was just curious. Perhaps one of them is saved for my time dining (if that is the correct phrase). Thanks for any information.

  5. One of our perks for an upcoming cruise is free specialty restaurants every night of our cruise. We were told we could book these prior to sailing - once onboard how does waitstaff know this is already paid for? Is there some type of marking on our keycard that shows we are entitled to this for every dinner? Please advise - thanks!

  6. If you do not put your luggage in the hall the night before and take care of your own luggage you get out earlier. The people who did this were able to leave at 7:20 on our last cruise about 2 weeks ago. Of course this varies from cruise to cruise depending upon customs clearing, etc.

We did not take care of our luggage and we were able to leave the ship at 8:05. Have a great time on the Grandeur - a great staff!!

  7. Does the Summit have the soda machines with the endless variety of flavor combinations like the sister line Royal Caribbean? I bought the non alcoholic beverage package and always enjoyed the machines on Royal - hoping the same is offered on Summit.

  8. Just wondering if anyone has sailed from Baltimore in the past during a snowstorm. Is there a chance ship will leave later than 4 to try to accommodate those traveling to the port with delays? If you have had past experience with this port - please advise. Also, with the amount of snow predicted it will take some time for passengers disembarking to clear their cars - perhaps will have to wait till lot is cleared to let new passengers in. Thanks for any information to anyone who has sailed from this port before with poor weather conditions. Hoping actual weather is not as bad as blizzard like conditions predicted. Thanks!

  9. Hi Radio -

On our last cruise was told honey stung chicken taken off the menu for all ships in fleet - that was always my go to first meal in Windjammer for lunch. Didn't ruin cruise - still plenty to find that is good. Are you going to Chops? If so - see if they serve the pretzel bread - in October on Liberty they served onion bread - and I missed that delicious pretzel bread. Wishing you smooth sailing and a wonderful cruise:)

  10. Thanks, Radio - for doing another LIVE report. I always follow the reports - your pics are always the best and commentary informative. We are sailing Grandeur Jan 24 - when you leave (I know - don't mention that now). Anyway, VERY anxious to see how smooth or rough the seas are as you head south in the winter. We have an aft cabin - excited about balcony - but a little concerned about possible movement. So look forward to your reports - wishing you smooth sailing and a great time. Hope to hear reports on entertainment as well. We have sailed Allure and Quantum in the past. I know this ship much smaller with not as much variety, but I hear service is good. AND - living in PA it is nice to drive 2 hours to port instead of having to pay to fly to sail out of Florida. Enjoy your cruise!!! Thanks again for all your work!

  11. I saw fresh squeezed juices are listed in classic package, but not in premium package which is more money per day. Please advise if fresh squeezed juices are in fact included in the premium package - thanks! It lists frozen drinks and smoothies, but does not mention juices.
