  1. It's in writing - features for Club Balcony It's been confirmed in other recent thread on this board. Were you in fact in a CB? If so, you got what you got - while anything could happen on any given cruise - I wouldn't count on it happening.
  2. You got it right. It's one bag per cruise. I have a 15 day next month and that is the deal. If you need more, there seems to be a weekly special for a flat rate on a bag (I think it's $29.95). So, likely to be twice during your cruise. Freebie is only one.
  3. Evidently, you're on the wrong track here with me. I did read your original post. I was responding to a comment made in post #5, not yours.
  4. I was not referring to the "6" problem. I was referring to cancelling and rebooking. HBcruiser said they wished it could be done online; so, bite the bullet and call - if you want to get it straight now. Of course, no guarantees on what will be available.
  5. No apologies necessary. I'm no expert on this subject, so you need to confirm what I'm saying here (call NCL to clarify your options). I believe that your FCC is now a cash reserve in your NCL account, to be used per regulations. It should have no impact on what happens with this new cruise and getting a fresh FCC for this 2024 cruise to be used on that #3 if the price drops closer to your sailing date.. Again, remember that as you are more than 120 days out, you may cancel your 2024 cruise and rebook at the current rate. There is no limit on how many times you can do this before final payment. Just two caveats: any special promotions you received (such as OBC) will be cancelled - you will receive any that are currently offered; also, I think there may be a complication if you took the BOGO air option. Good luck.
  6. I just re-read your first post and I'm a bit confused. You said you had an FCC from a 2023 cruise. Then you spoke of your upcoming cruise and a price drop on the upcoming one. Did you already receive another FCC from the next one? I'm wondering if you were discussing when to "apply" (use) the first one to the upcoming cruise. If that was your dilemma, note that you may apply more than one FCC as a payment towards future cruises. Also, using the one from 2023 does not prevent you from getting another one; nor does it prevent you from doing a cancel/rebook of the new one to capture the current price reduction; I don't think that you forfeit a used FCC until after the final payment date.
  7. Economically responsible Love it! Must remember that phrase. Ever consider being a novelist?
  8. Club Balcony also gets a free bag per cruise.
  9. They don't want your Starbucks contaminating foreign lands. Hmmmm..... 😲
  10. Apologies for this post. Somehow my comments, destined for a different thread, ended up here. No idea why.
  11. You should be able to get into these venues if you have some flexibility. Sometimes, you can just walk up and get in last minute (if not good, just head to the MDR or buffet). About that refund...IDK, but my guess is that it would be a fight unless you could show that there really was nothing available at all.
  12. Because Teppanyaki has one flat price for the meal - no prices for individual items. A no pre-purchase walk in pays that $96. With your FAS you pay zero.
  13. Reading along with great interest. Planning on bringing assorted zips (first time for a sail) to stash snacks or take along light lunch for the few tours spanning the middle of the day. Maybe for disembarkation - airplane lunch instead of on of those airport quick mart sandwiches. Thinking about magnetic hooks/clips. We're on the reverse sailing from LA on 1/12. Identical to yours less the stop in Mazatlan. Have the same Acapulco tour as you do. If...
  14. It is a possibility that the price reduction will get smaller. It could vary considerably for different cabin classes as well.
  15. Thanks. I was curious about the date, hoping you were not in a fringe period. Oh no, poster in #11 says they killed the lunch time salad bar. Sniff... 🙁
  16. You are entitled to 3 meals (like me, on your sailing). For the FAS deal, you pay nothing other than those gratuities already charged for any of the restaurants. The a la carte pricing only applies to someone who walks in with no package of any kind purchased; so they pay just as if you were in an ordinary restaurant, menu price for each item ordered. Teppanyaki charges a flat rate for the meal (3 courses if I remember correctly). A walk in, again, pays that fee. Package holder - like you - pays nothing.
  17. The reservation window opens at 12 days prior to departure. Since you are past that date, assume that all slots are booked. There are slots held to be given out onboard. You should attempt to book as soon as possible after boarding. There will be a desk somewhere to do this. Also can be done from video terminals on board. Your purchase includes a four course meal at the a la carte specialty restaurants. No charge. The few that are flat price, same applies.
  18. If both parties have the ship's internet service, is this $9.95 activation still required for onboard person to person calls and/or texts?
