hope you get a full credit and find a way to let someone up the chain of command know about the bad conditions of this tour and /or dock area and the blase ' attitude of shore excursion dept..etc something better is expected from Celebrity..

We have never taken the ferry over to Cancun....we heard the waters going across can be rough on the tummy! We were recently on Cozumel on our BEYOND cruise. . We .did some jewelry shopping..into Blue star sapphires this time. Also tee shirts for grands and our first time ever at Senor Frogs..Not our usual style but we got into the party mode and had a nice lunch. Food was excellent and drinks were " grande".

Photos are "very Mexico" very colorful.. but I'm confused Was Cancun your port or did u take a ferry from Cozumel? ( saw the Cozumel pic)

once she re contacts suggest you tell her to complain about the internet issues at IT area, esp if she paid for it or to upgrade. they will lkkely give her an adjustment.. glad they are okay and on the ship!

i once dropped my sea pass card in Cozumel on the walkway ( over water) between the Mexican check point and the ship entry. Luckily I realized it was no longer in my hand & we scoured every inch of walkway..we had passed. Luckily dh spotted it ..but it was tense moment or two! I am confident it worked out..she is a very experienced cruiser!

folks.... when looking at SVs on my phone, the deck plan I saw for deck 9 did not have the symbol usually shown for an IV so I asked if it was reg balc and I was told YES by a Cert Vac Planner... It appears she was wrong . I repeated that info of what she offered She gave 3 sep cabins one on 9 and 2 on 8, which she said were balconies based upon her info.. As to these cabins, she gave obstruction percentages and pricing. I would have been quite annoyed if we had booked on of those based on her info. luckily we did not... .. It appears she was wrong Can you now please give it a rest my friends!

yup..we are booked into an SV at a fair price...nice quiet area back there and great aft views of sea and sky..long walk to elevs but good to burn off calories.. I did not scrutinize any photos.. we do not book that way.. but we def would not enjoy a porthole anything. I was passing along what I was told. by the rep.

I am not here to debate or defend anyone.. she was reading from her APEX deck plans and info she had as an X rep..sometimes it is wrong. . I spotted it on a posted APEX deck plan near the SVs ..it did not show the symbol used for the IV so I asked about it.. we are booked and happy...others can investigate themselves...

that,s EDGE..the rep said they made a few regular verandas by popular demand.. can only go by what she said .. we did not book it anyhow.. went with the SV. so sorry to have caused a detour to Jim's great thread!

Shhh..secret is out NOT portholes! I spotted one on deck 9 APEX plan ..9303...when we booked our SV, it is very aft on the side...X rep identified at least 3 more. One on deck 8 had o % obs but othere were 25% to 50%. Ultimately, we took the standard SV..larger cabin, aft view balcony, bed by bath. .The others were on the sides..just a few hundred $ less.. you can call X to confirm..

Based on this review and ongoing one by Jim Lain, we booked a short cruise on APEX for 2025... sales going on!

What is the flavor of 43? Vanilla and...? My fav liquer is Sabra.. orange flavor israeli..not usually on ships and specialty order where we live. I also like Baileys, Tia Maria and Amaretta..not sure what is in which level of drink package anymore! Just order what we like, if available. Nit much of a drinker but these are my go tos

Jim You did it again! Celeb owes you.! After enjoying this review, we just booked APEX for a short cruise in 2025..rt Pt Ev . It stops at KW so I will be re -reading your KW posts.. also stops at Gr Cayman but we usually stay on board there..spa day! There was a sale of sorts on the 2nd person and we chose a Sunset Veranda, deck 9. This will be our 2nd SV and first time on APEX. ( Retreat & AQ Class were quite a bit more $, and Concierge had lower prices) ****** Just a tip for others thinking abt it... on APEX ,there are regular veranda cabins on deck 8 and 9.. one on 8 has no obstruction, others 25% to 50% obs.

we also enjoy the Aspen Coffee and serve that at home

Q sine had a great menu, best beef on the ship, creative desserts..fresh concept of meal service, order from i pads, definitely cool..great for small groups or even just two of us! glad we had the experience! sorry to say, we have no interest in a projected cartoon across our plates with fixed menus and group dining. in our opinion not the same level of creative culinary genius that went into Q sine!
