  3. I agree... its funny! also.... "How can they keep prices so high when the economy is cooling and people are cutting back?" perhaps the cost and availability of fuel may have some impact?? maybe add covid protocols and restrictions too...not sure but pent up demand ??

Not us..... although hesitant due to covid, last spring we did our first post pandemic cruise on the Regal to the Caribbean...it was outstanding.... as others have said, the staff, as always, was exceptional! 25 plus princess cruises prior, and with only one exception, we always were very satisfied.to incredibly satisfied. Only bad experience was on a princess cruise out of LA, when a tour group of 500 passengers tried to make everyone believe that they were they only folks that mattered during the entire cruise..... we enjoyed our return to cruising so much that we booked up a TA on the Regal this November an scarfed up some additional FCC's.

  7. we love our CVP...he is the best! I tried him a couple times on the phone and got the same result as OP.... so I emailed him (which he prefers) and he got back to me quickly...he did say that princess was "updating the phone system" and it was not a flawless transition and still on going! he said if calling now , after dialing the main number before you dial the extension....press the number 1 , then the extension, then the # sign ...I did that the next day (last week) and got right through.... Good Luck!

  10. Mark me as very impressed with CCL credit process! I sent my CCL info to the princess via email 6 days ago and the $250 credit showed up today! considering I aint no bill gates savvy guy, it really was easy! like others have said, I didn't get an email notification...it just appeared. thanks "pac and go" for your assistance! also, I used the "chat function" today relating to an excursion question (3rd time using chat).... again very efficient, and....I wasn't on the phone for an extended amount of time. good stuff1
  11. In addition to the very valid points made above....and.... IF you were able to get a good internet speed....you would also need a VPN to get any value out of the fire stick outside the U.S......we spend a lot of time in France, have high speed internet, but until we got a VPN to receive American programs on the stick, it was useless,as my French language skills are sadly non existent.

  15. Can you advise where in the cruise personalizer you found the CCL stock OBC? does it show up in sam place as other OBC's?....I seem to recall it showed up somewhere else......thanks much! ..and have a great cruise!

  17. Thanks to fellow CC folks and after struggling to FIND the "chat " feature.....I found it yesterday ! used it regarding a deposit issue. It was a great! Absolutely wonderful experience.and I had a great princess representative. I would suggest to Princess that the dont bury the feature at the bottom of the page in a tiny box.
  18. thanks very much to party barbie and JT 1962!.. very much appreciate your responses and help..... but when I pull up "princess .com" website ...not logging into my princess account! ...I get a completely different web page that is different from the photo JT1962 sent me.... mine has no "chat " ... and the pictures are different.... do you think princess has something against us folks from Florida?....again thanks for your patience with me!
  19. today I ...(totally me !) ...screwed up and PAID OFF a cruise scheduled in 2024. $ 15000 ! YUP $15000! instead of $800 deposit which was my intent. I corrected my stupidity by calling Princess and got help from a great customer service rep.....but it took awhile.... No one has ever accused me of being a " bill gates " kind of guy...but I could NOT find the process on the princess website to get to the " live chat " page.... I got lost at the " contact us page " but alas...could not get to "live chat" ...please understand I am 70 years old and not the sharpest knife in the drawer!...can you walk me through the pages to get to " live chat" during their business hours?....thanks in advance!
