I think it would be good if when you open the app it had something like what you find on the front page of the Compass listed.... Port of Call, Arrival time, all aboard time, sunrise time, sunset time.... you shouldn't have to do any scrolling to try to locate this basic info.
Of course, the assumption of the RCI execs is that these folks taking multiple long weekend type vacations per year will choose to do most of them on a cruise ship. Embarking and disembarking a cruise ship with 5000 other people isn't the most fun. There isn't a lot of time in between on a 3-4 day cruise to discover the aspects of cruising that we all love. Maybe the cruise execs are right but I have my doubts as to the long term sustainability.
SmartSwitch works great. It even transferred my passwords to various WiFi systems that I connect to from my S8 to my S22. And connecting the phones with cables is so much faster than doing a wi fi or Bluetooth transfer.
I also backup my phone every couple of weeks to a portable Samsung solid state hard drive. Even if something wiped out my phone I could restore everything from the drive. Even with all the pictures and music on my phone the backup only takes 20-25 minutes.
I think the two have always been somewhat connected. In the past anyway, cruises out of San Juan were less expensive and Adventure often had close to sailing fire sales. Wasn't that due to the extra cost of flying to Puerto Rico compared to Florida?
