There is a sketchy area in Bermuda? Or are you talking about the embarkation Port? From my experience Bermuda doesn't have a sketchy area. If it does I didn't see it.

Very different experience at a "true" zoo these days. They try very hard to replicate the native environment of the animal. The cages are long gone.

I think the work you do is fantastic. Refuges and zoos serve very admirable purposes. We have a zoo in RI that provides a great environment for the animals. As best I can tell the animals seem well cared for and at peace. I fully understand the issue of animal ambassadors and feel they fill a very important role. I just don't know about some of these animal encounter places. They seen to have one purpose, to make money.

No idea how anyone can complain about the wash stations. I think they have been a great addition to the Windjammers. I much prefer soap and water to rubbing chemicals into my hands.

I think you will have a fine time aboard. If I were able to cruise in the Fall I'd be looking to get back on the ship. I did think there were some food quality issues in January but it all seemed resolved in April.

I'm surprised to read that. I was on Allure in Jan and April and thought the service was fine.

They are incredibly intelligent beings. Penning them is probably not much different than removing a human from its family and locking him away somewhere. It doesn't matter how "well" they may be taken care of. The same is true with Orcas. They would be left alone, and these places would not exist, if people did not throw money at them.

It is about a 25 minute drive to PVD and about 1hr 20 min to BDL. I prefer PVD but pricing and flight times weigh into which airport I use.

I think you meant returning on 1/15? JB has two non-stops to Hartford from FLL. One at 8:10AM and 9:10PM. Not great times. SW has a 2:10 PM non stop from FLL to PVD. Sometimes I fly one airline in one direction and come back on the other.

July15 has come and gone. Do you mean 1/15? I'm sering $424 for the blue fare. However, right now that flight has a ton of empty seats. I'd watch it for awhile. The price will drop.

Every SW flight I have been on has been packed. I don't know what their issue is.

I was looking at flights to Ft. Lauderdale. I don't know what is up with Southwest lately. Just about everything coming and going stops in Baltimore. They used to have great non-stop times. They seem to be using Baltimore as a hub now. I don't like it.

Serenade had them when we sailed. They were pretty cool. I don't remember anything else very outstanding in the Centrum. That was back in the days when the Seaview Cafe still existed.
