December is a possibility for me as high school football is typically finished by then. But I still have the issue of time out of the office for Christmas and New Years. I just can't figure out an easy way to get back aboard before she moves to Galveston

I tend to agree with you here. Different classes of ship offer very different cruise experiences. At least that is true with RCI.

I've tried to drink a Moscow Mule. I just can't do it.

So I was right about the temp taking issue. Geeze, I would love to be aboard this ship again.

The point is that if they are going to give something to you with no charge it is good to have it be something that doesn't have a high cost to them.

Love her but she is still kind of ugly looking from the back.

That is assuming you would have actually bought 170 drinks. And the expense to RCI to buy the ingredients for those 170 drinks is no where near that number. And don't forget who was actually making reservations and going to sea when cruising restarted and creating a revenue stream. It sure wasn't first time cruisers jumping back in the ships. It is all much more complicated than your simple math.

Sitting by the pool at the yacht club drinking a cosmo, reading Cruise Critic, and listening to Judy Collins/Jonas Fjeld album Winter Stories on Spotify. Saw them together on PBS once. I think the music is pretty cool. Hard to believe Judy is in her 80's now. Back in my college days I listened to her a lot and also played and sang a lot of her songs. Thought she was so pretty back then. She just wasn't as bewitching as Stevie though.😊 Nice evening to start the weekend.

What other reason would you expect RCI to give for raising prices?

Demand for the sailing is what determines cruise fare. Every revenue center is priced to what the cruise line believes will maximize profit.

It's getting a whistle blown at you that really piles on the points.

It is quite fortunate that you tested negative or there would have been a bunch of depressed people on this thread. We are all planning on cruising next week.

Entertainment has never been one of Adventure's strong suits.

My major thing to pack is TUMS. Getting reflux from eating too close to bedtime is horrible. I didn't know drug reps even existed any longer. It seems the only people our politicians approve of getting anything for free is them.🙄

I think you hit on a very good point. I can remember as a kid not being in a great mood and declining some activity with friends. They simply didn't give me a choice and would just say you're coming or we won't have a very good time. In the end I was almost always glad I caved and went.
