Voyager is the only V class ship that I have not sailed on. -
I completely agree.

Capt. Kate does daily short videos on YouTube. She was supposed to start her off rotation I think a week or two ago but her contract was extended for a couple of weeks for a reason that I don't remember. I don't know if she has another 12 days left or not. I didn't really care for her at first as I thought she was kind of a "showboater" sort of like Capt. Johnny on RCI. However, she has grown on me. I find her daily videos informative and entertaining. I think she said something about visiting another X ship when she leaves Beyond where she is meeting up with some friends including Capt. Sandy from Below Deck. I hope you get to sail with her. I'm just not sure of her departure date from Beyond.

Wishing you a great, and safe, trip J.C. You have elucidated well the reasons why I never got another dog after I lost my Weimaraner though I truly miss having a dog. It will be fun to follow your trip. Safe travels. -
Yet folks who post on these boards justify every cutback by RCI because of the shutdown and debt while management takes care of itself.

Interesting that you mention ear plugs. This past Christmas I got a new set of noise cancelling ear buds that connect by blue tooth to my phone. When I activate the noise cancelling it is a bit eerie how it blocks out the surrounding world. It actually bothers me to be so disconnected from my surroundings. I get concerned during flights that I'll miss an anouncement about something. I guess I have way too much FOMO. However, they would probably be great in the OR during surgery IF I were ever to be on the wrong side of the table rail.

Thanks. I've had dogs and cats but I'm probably more of a dog person too. I just love animals I guess. However, after I lost my previous dog I felt that I was at a point where I couldn't give a new dog the attention that it deserved. Cats are much easier. Jade was from a litter of four. I didn't get to pick her as the other three were already taken. So it was her or wait for another litter to come. I saw both her mother and father and thought they were both really nice cats so Jade became mine. Sometimes I wish I had just provided a home to a shelter cat in need. However, that is a bit moot at this point.
