  1. The snow has stopped. I'm waiting for the snow plow to go by and block the end of the driveway. I'll have to shovel that out before the temperature drops and it freezes tonight.
  2. I'm glad it worked out for you. It is a mess here. I had to hand shovel the driveway as the wet sh!t kept clogging the snowblower.
  3. That is a very good price. Don't expect pricing to drop much as the year goes on. After I bought my S22 shortly after it came out I kept monitoring pricing just to see if I got ripped off. What I found was the price holding steady throughout the year.
  4. Is the plan to do this laproscopically? If so then the procedure has a much easier recovery than years ago. This should be a piece of cake compared to your knees.
  5. Just cancelled the office for today. The relaxed feeling that I had from last week at least lasted half way through yesterday.🙄
  6. Our first was Jan 2022 so we probably had more people than you did. It seemed like the perfect number. Plenty of life around the ship but no lines or waiting for anything, as well as a deck chair anywhere you wanted at any time of the day. And all of that for an amazing price!
  7. I was on Allure after the reopening at about 50% capacity. What an amazing sailing. I, like you, will never forget that experience.
  8. Maybe they stopped but they were leaving a survey in the cabins asking people if they wanted the block or not. It would have saved you a trip to guest services. I always look forward to getting my next one.
  9. Wow, that is a lot of cruising. We've done several cruises on Adventure out of San Juan as well as Ft. Lauderdale. Always enjoyed the time I've had on her. I'm just not a big fan of the old Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers shows.
  10. Which day are you at Coco Cay this week? I can tell you that there was plenty of talk on Odyssey last week about your visit to Perfect Day.
  11. I'm not sure what you mean by "not functioning right". I know some companies don't put any limit on the phone's condition but I don't know anything about Xfinity. As far as the phone, I have an S22. For what you want to use it for I think the S24 would be more than adequate. The S24+ is only going to give you a somewhat larger screen size. The S24 Ultra will give you an even larger screen and improved camera processing. However, I am perfectly happy with my S22 camera and have never wished that I had gone with the plus or ultra. I prefer having a smaller phone which was why I did not go with the plus or ultra. Hope that helps.
  12. @ReneeFLL Tell Mike I think he would have enjoyed the comedian last night. He did a segment on flying in a plane. That, and the entire show, was hellarious.
  13. I know, terrible itinerary. I guess if I just wanted to spend a week on the ship it would be OK but I do look forward to port calls.
  14. Did you mention plane geek? I'm in that club. Heck when I book flights one of the criteria I use is what model plane I'll be flying on. YouTube has loads of videos with communication between planes and ATC. I love listening to those! And I have Microsoft Flight Simulator on my computer and have loads of fun with that.
  15. I do. Even with Q class design quirks it is a very functional ship. This morning the Windjammer had a very relaxing atmosphere and we all know how that last breakfast can be. Met a couple of bartenders that I enjoyed and that seems to be a little harder to do on O class with so many people competing for their attention. Though sailing Allure at around 50% capacity was a dream and isn't likely to ever happen again. I didn't think the Windjammer food was quite as good as last year but I didn't go hungry for sure. I always found something that I enjoyed. Sorrento's did not disappoint. I expected the pizza to be bad and it lived up to my expectations. The entertainment will never equal O class but anyone with RCI experience would not expect it to be on O class level. It is certainly way above the old RCI Singers and Dancers level. The ship is still meticulously maintained, the crew is friendly and helpful. There is enough to do on the ship but not too much. I leave this ship feeling more relaxed than I do on O class. I still love O class for all it has to offer and I do miss the Aqua Theater and ice rink when on other class ships. But I don't get much down time when on O class. The bottom line is I would have no issue booking Odyssey and hope I am able to sail on her again. I still think she is an awesome ship.
