  1. Any of them for Manhattan or Brooklyn, Definitely Newark for Bayonne. Roy
  2. Thank you for the Hump Day report, Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Pepperoni Pizza sounds nice. I'll pass on the Punch as I try to get ready for my upcoming cruises. I love Armstrong's quote as I anticipate him belting out "What a Wonderful World" as Crystal Serenity leaves Quebec next month. I've been to Gothenberg just once, way back in 2003 when I arrived there on the DFDS ferry. Three interesting days. I'll especially celebrate the reunification of Germany, I'll pass on the shrimp. My alternative is Pasta and Lemon Tart as served on Amtrak's Cardinal on the way to Seattle to board MS Oosterdam. Roy
  3. Today's sunrise is from a 2003 Australia land trip. On September 20 we were near Ayres Rock. Roy
  4. Well, for better or for worse I closed up the bag that goes to Luggage Forward. Still time to chicken out until the deed is actually done, and then it would be a mess to try to cancel the delivery to the ship. Roy
  5. True, although not much of a view from Brooklyn and even less than Bayonne. Manhattan has also gotten quite busy with only 3 available berths, and I think getting a non-routine sailing in there is not always available. Roy
  6. Would you consider Amtrak's Silver Service from Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale? I think there are things like the Voyage of the Vikings from Boston that might also be possibilities. Roy
  7. Welcome aboard! Very few of us have actually sailed together, and a number of us have never been on a HAL ship but we've become quite a close yet diverse group. @richwmn started us off way back in 2019 with just a bare listing of the fleet locations, It stayed that way for about a year until Covid hit and the ships were not going anywhere, and Rich added features one or 2 at a time until we ended up with a lot of categories. When the meal, drink, and wine of the day people just started exploring information on them and @summer slope, @dfish and @cat shepard each ended up with backups when they go off on a cruise. I started the care and celebration lists for a while but early this year was hospitalized and first @superoma took it over followed by @JazzyV. We're a very diverse group, most of whom have never met, but we relish newcomers. Roy
  8. Very close. I think I need to back off and get back to packing to have my bag ready for Luggage Forward tomorrow.. Thanks Leanne, Lou & Dave, and fellow addicts. Roy
  9. Looks right to me. I think tomorrow would normally be Noordam which instead is on the 14-day Grand Alaska. Roy
  10. I get British Back Bacon regularly on Queen Mary 2. Old Crystal offered Canadian Bacon although I do not know if it has been carried over to new Crystal. Roy
  11. Am I correct that ArriveCan is no longer used for land/sea crossings? Roy
  12. Today's sunrise was taken 2 years ago at my 60-year High School reunion. It was taken on the grounds of Cicero-North Syracuse Central High School (that school opened 5 years after I graduated). Roy

  14. Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. I think I'll pass on the days. Congratulations to New Zealand for leading the way on Woman's suffrage. All my (Crystal) cruises to Hawaii have been to Lahaina. I visited Kahului on a land trip way back in 1992. I'm sure this will be a sad anniversary for @mamaofami Carol and Sam. I hope Sam's repair comes soon. I like the Frost quote. My temperature is down today. The meal sounds interesting. Roy
  15. Passengers headed ashore. Thanks Leanne, Lou & Dave, and fellow addicts. Roy
