  1. Well, not entirely. One of the hallmarks of Crystal World Cruises was a "World Cruise Games" which featured events attuned to the age of the passengers. I was on that segment in 2018 and one of the events was putting. I did not do well but had one moment of glory with a hole in one: Roy
  2. Today's sunrise is from the same trip as the one with the Carnival Fantasy. My brother's reunion was September 20, 2014 and on September 21 I started home mid-morning: Roy

  4. Thank you for the Rich for the Hump Day Report. 3 great days, although it's many years since I've played miniature golf. It's also the last full day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, although tomorrow is mostly summer. I love the Lennon quote, but have not been to Townsville. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is an Amtrak Empire Builder chicken entree as served on September 21, 2017 on the way to Seattle to meet MS Oosterdam. 5. Not really belated. Today is the Anniversary of their ceremony with the Rabbi. Roy
  6. I have a sunset today rather than a sunrise. It's from September 20, 2017 taken from Amtrak's Cardinal from Baltimore to Chicago as we chugged along the New River in West Virginia. Roy

  8. Thank you for the Tuesday report, Rich. A nice collection of days; I believe it is also National Voter Registration Day in the US. I love the Dalai Lama quote . I have not been to Trieste but it's become a very important port, and is also the current home of my beloved Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony as they are prepared for an eventual return to service under new management. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Pasta and Lemon Tart as served on Amtrak's Cardinal to Chicago, the first dinner of a round the world trip on Amtrak, Oosterdam, Amsterdam, KLM, and Prinsendam. 12. Thank you for the report, Rich on this terribly sad but moving Monday. I like @puppycanducruise's comment about Pirates and Butterscotch but I am not a dancer. 13. Sounds like the move was not your choice, and definitely NOT a good move vis a vis motion of the ocean but perhaps some view of the ocean made up for the increased motion and definitely better than having the sea come crashing in on you. Roy
  14. Today's sunrise is from my 2014 Carnival Fantasy cruise. September 18 was our sea day, the last day before our return to Charleston and meeting my brother for his reunion. Roy

  17. I just got an email from the Maryland Urban Search and Rescue with several members from my county are being deployed to Puerto Rico. Roy
  18. Thank you for the Sunday report, Rich. I'll take my burger without the cheese and appreciate Wife Appreciation Day and Women's Friendship. One year ago today I was back in upstate New York for my 60-year high school reunion. Interesting point of view by Wilde. The meal sounds interesting, the stuffing is the key. I have not been to Livorno although I was supposed to be last year, bringing the Carnival Legend to Baltimore. 19. What about in Scotland and I assume not while on extended travels. Roy
  20. With the storm apparently headed North and West of the Aleutians, I see very little likely impact on cruises. There's a Silversea ship headed for Dutch Harbor that might be but I doubt any big cruise ships will see much. Roy
  21. Today's sunrise is another from my 2012 Crystal Symphony transatlantic. September 17 was a sea day from Reykjavik to New York and the day we would have called at Halifax if we had not been delayed by storms: Roy
