Globaliser - am surprised at your comment that one should not be “entitled” to arrive and depart at certain times. You bet, I am entitled! Am not buying an air ticket to go for an airplane ride but to get from point A to point B at a certain time.

Laurspag - I have followed this board for years but rarely post. But reading your last post, I feel like I had to comment. I have been a travel agent for 45 years. I have heard so many people say that when so and so retires, they are going to do that trip and this trip. Then something happens to one of them and their plans of travel fall apart. Their dream trips never materialize. Don’t let that happen to you! If you really want to go someplace, just do it! You don’t know what the future holds, so just go! It sounds like you have well laid plans, but…what if something happens to one of you?

I thought I read recently that taxis are difficult to now get in Dover. Is this true? We are taking the train from London to Dover and I would hate to get there and have to walk a mile or so with suitcases to the dock area!

Can anyone recommend some cute and comfortable walking shoes? Bought a pair of Taos really cute sneakers but they were too small and they don’t come in a larger size. I need an 11-1/2 or 12 (it seems the older I get, the bigger my shoe size gets!). Would love some ideas! Thank you…

Landed in Amsterdam about 3 weeks ago and to wait 2-1/2 hours to get our bags. But the worst of it was at the lost luggage counter. For some reason , an American flight from Dallas didn’t put on bags and there were literally about 75 to 100 people waiting in line to fill out lost luggage claims and there was one, yes, one agent working the lost claim counter. It had to take them hours to fill out the form and I would have been a crazy person had I had to wait in that line!

Also check out Land End. They have quite a few 12 inch shorts and they are very comfortable!

Did anyone see the speech Steve Kerr gave about this shooting? I totally agree with him. There have been laws waiting to be passed for 2 years but our senators have not acted on them. The all get money - lots of it - from the NRA. It’s time for them to stop taking the money and start passing laws. Please! Enough is enough!

Have a personal question - what do you do about a mustache??? I shave it so there is no hair but it always seem to be dark on my lip - like a mustache. I can’t believe I am the only one with this problem. But what can you do for it?

Formal nights? I t would be very, very rare to see a tux on Seabourn. A nice sports coat for men and nice slacks or dress for women but really no very formal dress. It is what we like about Seabourn

Regent all the way. By the time you add in everything that Regent provides, and a t a MUCH higher service than Oceania, it can’t be beat.
