Extra fee or not, I would always want to pick the medallion up on boarding day. I cannot identify an advantage to having it shipped to my house. -

To be fair, many folks don't travel and many folks are not going to fly very often. Real ID is way down the priority list for them. To get this done is going to take a certain amount of friendly coercion. I continue to think a uniform ID system is a good idea.

Had a very similar experience in Rome. The Police station was packed with tourists all there for the same problem. Also one Nun. Her satchel was snatched by someone on a scooter. Bad karma for that guy I think.

If I had to skip one I would skip Mykonos. It is pretty but I prefer the other places for wandering around.

I tend to agree with your comments other than I think COVID was a valid reason among a sea of other excuses. All I know is, I intend to be no where near an airport on the day it finally happens. haha.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. We were on Oasis last month. Our experience with the MDR and windjammers was good. The selection in windjammer was pretty good too. Sounds like there is a problem on the Harmony.

Real ID has been available in my state since only 2018. It is currently still optional. Can't automatically convert to Real ID at expiration because there are people renewing DLs who do not qualify for a Real ID.

Or just maybe the point is the best trained in the Poster's opinion. I think it would be incredibly wrong to assume a US marine or British Navy vet has only one possible national origin.

Rye flour shortage in the US has sent bakeries to sources in other countries. Not an expert. Only know that because I did a quick google. -
I think it is very true that the need for carrying cash has declined pretty significantly. I expect we will be cash-less in the not so distant future -- maybe even in my lifetime. In the meantime, we still carry some cash and have the debit card if needed.

Well, my state doesn't seem overly concerned about Federal law, but that is an entirely different discussion that would likely not be allowed here on CC. I do agree that a uniform ID is a good thing to have. At the same time, I think the covid issue that Charles4515 mentions is a valid reason to delay implementation. Covid put a lot of wrenches in the works.

Sorry, my mistake.. By "limitless liability" you mean potentially up to the account value. We manage that in our "debit account". After reading all of the above, I'm more convinced than ever it is best to let the security team handle things.

What I read is shorts are prohibited in the MDR. Maybe I'm looking at some out of date wording. Yep, food tastes the same with or without sequins. 😀

"Without asking I would know" "These have limitless liability" What does these comments mean? We keep a smaller separate account linked to our debit card in order to manage the risk.

No, I don't. But I do think many people complain about all kinds of things. And I think a complaint, even about theft, does not result in a knee-jerk termination. I give the ship management more credit than that.
