  1. I think few do because of the passport requirement.
  2. This is an excellent point but there is little communication of this between the ship and the terminal, so one would still need to ask for assistance in the terminal. It is also possible to rent a wheel chair or scooter for the cruise from a third party (google "wheelchair cruise rental" or something similar).
  3. If you are on a closed loop cruise where a government ID and birth certificate will get you onboard (and it sounds like you are) then there is no 6 month requirement and you didn't need to renew your passport. Royal's guidelines are poorly written in that regard.
  4. All true but it was jarring seeing it in response to this particular question, that's all. I do recall seeing a few inquiries about whether or not Friends of Bill was available posted on CC.
  5. My guess would be no. Fortunately there are no limitations to how many tea bags one may bring onboard.
  6. I've never been able to tolerate the taste of plain liquor, probably because I don't care enough to spend the money on the good stuff.
  7. On our last cruise the folks we were talking to in the terminal turned out to the have the suite right next to ours. It was neat seeing them throughout the trip and comparing notes. On one cruise we met some nice people at our diner table and we are still in contact with them today. They were on their honeymoon and now they have two boys so I'm not sure when they will be sailing again. We met one couple through social media prior to the cruise and DW really hit it off with the wife. They will be on our April cruise.
  8. I think regardless of the responses taking a physical payment card along would be prudent. The Caribbean covers a lot of ground so you might get better responses if you actually mention the islands you'll be visiting.
  9. When we have Cheers I very rarely drink anything mixed with just plain soda. Too many other choices to be that limiting.
  10. Their selection of tea is somewhat limited and real tea aficionados may not find those few choices to their liking. I am okay with Lipton, it's what I grew up with, and while I don't care too much for tea I can tell the difference between Lipton and Earl Grey (as a limited example, and Earl Grey may have been one of the choices, I didn't memorize them).
  11. There are a good number of online brokers that will allow you to buy with no fees. I googled "online brokers for beginners" and it gave me decent results.
  12. The rules for Canadians visiting the US are different than for other countries. A Canadian may stay in the US for a designated amount of time each year without a visa or without a green card. I am not sure exactly what the rules are, just that they are different. OP, as has been said you will need your passport so I hope there is enough time before you sail to get another one.
  13. We're celebrating with a suite a couple weeks after you and looking forward to sailing down the river.
  14. They have sparkling cider available through the online gift shop to purchase for the cabin. I didn't see any others that were alcohol free. You could always bring a bottle with you in your carryon.
  15. Yes, but it seemed like a left field thing, sort of suggesting that anyone who eschews alcohol does so only because they are recovering and not because they don't care for it or aren't really into it.
  16. Not sure what in the OP caused you to include that info. Someone can not be into alcohol without needing Friends of Bill.
  17. Hopefully Starry will be more palatable. Neither of us are a big fan of Sierra Mist.
  18. Same here. We had a little extra money and the price was right. No way we could have done that at the high of $65 they had a couple of years ago. I am still buying a little here and a little there in the hopes that we see that level again to give us some to sell and some to hold, but we shall see.
  19. I recall seeing it in the Hub App on our last two sailings. We did try it once but found it wasn't our cup of tea (yes, intended pun 🙂).
  20. It would certainly be nice if they keep extending the program. To be honest it's the only reason that I have Carnival stock. They get rid of that reason and I'll probably get rid of the stock as well.
  21. Rather arbitrary, but I suppose if that's the way they want to go with it they certainly can.
  22. The other issue right now is all of the supply chain issues that are affecting so many routine things. It is possible that this is normally carried onboard but won't be available because the order wasn't received in time for the sailing.
  23. I think I recall seeing something similar in the shops onboard but I'm with the others, if you want it pre-order it, that way you know you'll get it.
  24. There was a thread not too long ago about this and it seems like a 50/50 proposition. The stores in my area sell it as wine and it is called wine. How it is marketed shouldn't matter, but I can see some security folks seeing cocktail and rejecting it.
  25. 1. The cards come pre-punched with a hole in the corner. 2. Taxis are very prevalent in the Bahamas, just make sure you know what you are paying and getting before you get in the cab. 3. I think the picture package is only for the 8x10's but the pictures they take on the pier might be included (they don't cost as much as the 8x10's though so including them may not be best price wise). 4. There are always partiers and a fair amount of kids, but it's easy enough to avoid both. 5. They do have wheelchair assistance that you can request in the terminal. Right after security they will have employees directing people to the line, ask them for the physical assistance line. (Pro tip, if you want a boarding picture make sure that you let the person steering the wheel chair know, otherwise they might just bypass this step.) 6. The donation is $15 I believe and that gets you the shirt. I received a 3X on Legend because I waited too long to donate. Congrats to your son!
