  1. Bingo usually isn't IN the casino. Typically played in one of the lounges (during the daytime).
  2. Not always. Our first Alaska cruise was mid September. Most ports had at least 1/4 of their shops "closed for the season". But, there were still stores that were open, just not as much. And the sales were pretty good, for what remaining merchandise there was. As to the weather that year - basically overcast and misty most days. With rain in some places. Temperatures were high 50- low 60s most days.
  3. https://www.cruisetimetables.com/ That other site went bad a couple of years ago.
  4. Don't think that the buffets are the issue, but I recently read an article about shrinking seat sizes: The FAA wants your opinion on the size of airplane seats, but the deadline is fast approaching https://thehill.com/homenews/369595...e-seats-but-the-deadline-is-fast-approaching/https://www.regulations.gov/document/FAA-2022-1001-0001
  5. I think some of that downturn has to do with the fact that there wasn't too much cruising going on for the past couple of years.
  6. We parked at the Wyndham, also. Very convenient, no "hike" involved. But you must book way out.
  7. Lots of info here: https://disneycruiselineblog.com/2014/04/connectsea-internet-data-plans-review/
  8. We don't bring our laptop on cruises. We find most ships have an internet room, with computers for use.
  9. Have you tried using the "Find a Cruise" link at top of page?
  10. Not totally a call to muster, but we were awakened at 3 am one night at sea. In my sleep-filled stupor I recognized the "7 short 1 long" blast, and knew it was not a drill. I knew I needed to get up and put on some clothes, and wait in my room for further directions. After about 15 minutes, there was a ship-wide announcement that a fire in the engine room had triggered the alarm, but all was under control and the fire was out.
  11. Did you let DCL know? They do respond to massive feedback on procedure changes. At least they have in the past.
