14 days with both DDs. Their first cruises respectively were 10 days when they were 1.5 years old.

Love this! I’m a planner too so it really irked me the app didn’t allow me to do any bookings. It caused me undue stress which is quite the opposite effect you want when going on vacation.

There’s only so many t-shirts, free charms and trinkets one can have! 😀

I experienced the same issues as you (and honestly for much of the duration of my cruise with bookings via the app). It was incredibly frustrating. I called the Dining Line once on board and they sorted it out for me. Incidentally Princess had automatically booked my party and I into a speciality dining venue for our complimentary first night already. We had no issues changing the venue or time to our preference. The specialty dining restaurants were pretty quiet on embarkation night.

Havensight. I don’t recall docking elsewhere in past visits there on the Royal-class ships.

The Enchanted had the port guides each day printed for pick up at Guest Services. They were in B&W but readily available. @worldtraveller, I have the guides for St. Thomas, Antigua, and St. Lucia. If you haven’t found the Information you need reply already, let me know and will share accordingly.

Unfortunately if it was in the update it didn’t work for my travel party and I. At least not in the same fashion notifications work for my other apps (whereby you view the notification on the phone without having to open the app itself). Nonetheless I still found the chat cumbersome as it was embedded in another menu within the Medalllion App.

On our Christmas sailing, I can confirm that the notification did not work. It made the shipmate chat rather useless in my opinion. Hope they resolved that.

Ship Enchanted Princess Class Royal Deck 10 Stateroom # 101 Category Premium Suite Port/Starboard/Bow/Stern Starboard Connects With Cabin # NA Accessible No Quiet Yes, for the most part. However due to its proximity to the bow there was considerable noise in the morning when we pulled into port due to the thrusters or anchor. Balcony Size Narrow but long. Balcony included 2 reclining loungers with separate footstools, 2 side tables and 1 round table. Balcony was so narrow the round table for dining could not be set up or moved from the corner it was wedged in. View Amazing view from the bedroom window of the bow of the ship. Balcony views also unobstructed. Privacy Issues None Wind minor when at sea Soot No Problems None Comments The cabin had a large and spacious bedroom, with ample storage. It was more than comfortable for our family of 4. Previously we had booked 2 interconnecting balconies and were worried about the single washroom to share but it was never an issue due to the separation of the toilet from the shower and tub. Given it’s location in Forward, it was a bit of a trek to the main parts of the ship we frequented but we didn’t mind the extra steps as it allowed us to burn off the extra calories. Would rebook this in a heartbeat.

It’s a very short bus ride (approx 5 minutes) from the ship to the terminal. Often it takes longer to wait for them to fill up the bus than the ride itself. Didn’t notice a mad rush for it when we were there on Christmas but we did not disembark right at the start. While Princess states you cannot walk it, we did see some passengers from the other cruise line walk to/from the cruise terminal as well.
