What airline were you on? You were lucky with all your delays to make the cruise. Taking a Princess transfer, they would know you were on your way. I will be on the Island Princess in Nov during Mediterranean & Israel. Does the pool area have a retractable roof?

After a long overnight flight, you will be tired/exhausted, do you really want to drag yourself and luggage maybe using stairs/elevators on different trains. Since there are 5 people, use a car service, you will be met after you exit the baggage area and be dropped off at the door of your hotel.

They go on disembarkment days from Southampton dock with a stops at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor then dropped off at the door of certain London hotels, LHR hotels. I was there late 1979, my sister in law lived there. I was thinking HOHO if close by. Maybe Princess post cruise excursion as flight home will be very late.

Can you walk to attractions in the area or need a taxi? We have knee problems so slow walking.

I have stayed at Holiday Inn Herbert Walker 1x and Premier Inn West Quay 5x. I have read many have stayed at Moxy which is very close to Premier Inn West Quay. Has anybody stayed at Premier Inn West Quay and Moxy? What difference did you find? Which did you prefer?

I took Princess post excursion. After the excursion they let people off at the train station then continued on to the airport.
