Last time in November, we had taken Princess post excursion and we thought we had plenty of time for our 5:00pm flight to Canada. Long lines at the machine to put our boarding pass in a machine to get us into long security line then our bags had to be searched as we had left our IPads in the bags as we had done as the Canada’s security guard had told us to do there. Then the security person stood there talking with other security people instead of putting our IPads and other people items back on the conveyor belt to be rechecked. At LHR, they do not post gate # until closer to boarding time. Find a seat where you can see the gate boards. My gate #, did not seem to show up so had to find an Information booth to ask which gate. Our gate was at the other end to where we were sitting in the middle sitting area by the gate board then a long walk, an elevator up then another long walk before we got to the gate. It felt like we walked the length of LHR, on the sitting area with stores then upstairs the same distance. Just glad we had the time.

On the Island in Nov, the cabin attendant changed my Elite mini bar. On the Sky in Feb, the cabin attendant said call room service. When I see the cabin attentant for the first time, I ask who I contact to change the mini bar. When you use the phone for any Elite benefits, there is no charge.

My cruise is the 10 day cruise August 2025 from Boston to Quebec City. Portland is our first and only USA port after Boston then all Canadian ports. We plan on taking a Princess excursion. I wonder if we will have to go through what you had to go through at Portland?

In the casino, when you cash out, often they don’t give you the coins unless you ask for it. All the coins not given to the passengers all add up.

Have only taken a 3 day NCL on an old ship many, many years ago. How did you do the combination? Eat at one first then eat at the other? Take the food from one to the other and eat there?

EzAir flights don’t come out until Oct, I was thinking on taking the first flight out around 8am from Toronto to Boston as it is only 1 1/2 hrs.

Following along. I am doing this cruise August 2025 on the Majestic. Did you stay at a hotel pre cruise?

I was on a day trip on a bus out of London with 3 stops - Bath, Stonehenge, Windsor. The first stop, there was a couple late getting back to the bus. The guide say, “anybody late will be making their own way back to London”. The stops were all timed so the bus could be back to London depot at a certain time. No one was late again. Your guide could have quietly talked to the ladies about being back on time.

Why I suggested a connecting cabins as it is easier to go through the connecting cabin door than going out the door to the next cabin. Do you have a connecting cabins?

Love your pictures. When I take pictures from the moving bus, I get the glare from the window or there are out of focus.

I could have taken a 11am non stop flight from Rome. I decided not to feel rushed, I decided to stay at the Hilton Airport (attached to the FCO by a covered walkway) and have the same non stop flight the next day. The first time I took a post cruise excursion that dropped off at the airport and I walked to the Hilton Airport. Green apples are good for seasickness. See if they have any ginger tea bag, maybe at International Cafe coffee place or where you get coffee/tea. My friends got a ginger tea bag on the Sky at the bar outside Princess Live.
