  1. Thank you, Bonnie!😘 When is your next scheduled cruise, Greg? Truer words were never spoken!😊 You aren't kidding! It is freezing and blustery here, even though it is supposedly 65 degrees here. Both our granddaughter Ava has a Field Hockey game this evening, and our grandson Ryan has his Marching Band at tonight's football game. Our daughter is going to call us just before half-time so we can go over to the field just before Ryan marches out. It's just too darned windy and cold right now!! (says the girl who'll be heading to NE and Canada in a couple of days)😁
  2. Good Lord!! Thank you .lol. I had a brain "fart" before. ..or a sr moment.. Thank you, Mark. Our grandchildren share the same birthday! Thanks Lenny! Thank you, Debbie. She really is. Thank you for your kind words. (Always)
  3. Today is our granddaughter Ava Jude's 17th Birthday. She began her day by taking her Road Test this morning, and getting her License!!!! Great Birthday present. We were supposed to go to Ava's Field Hockey game this evening, but due to the rain this afternoon, I'm not expecting the game to still be scheduled for 5pm. We knew that Ava is the Captain of her Field Hockey team, but we didn't realize that she is also the Captain of her LaCroix (sp?) team also. I guess our daughter thought she'd told us already...πŸ€”
  4. My grandsons love the sandwiches at WaWa. I very rarely order coffee out. My 2 cups at home in the morning are all I really need or want; EXCEPT for this time of the year....I love the WaWa Pumpkin spice coffee. Yum!! @Jimbo...you aren't kidding, Debbie. Jim's house is going to look pretty awesome!!
  5. Happy 10th Birthday to your handsome grandson!!!!πŸŽ‚ It's been pouring here since 11:00 am here. We really did need it! I'm so sorry to hear this, Lenny😒

  7. So, I come from a very large family. My dad was one of 9, my mom, one of 5. I've never met half of my dad's siblings, they spread out in the states. I have/had 7 siblings, 2 of my brothers are now deceased. Anyway, my mom had light brown eyes, my dad had green. My oldest sister and I have green eyes. 2 sisters have brown, two brothers had brown, and my twin brothers both had blue. One of the twins' eyes turned green/hazel as an adult. Jim has brown eyes, as did his mom. His dad had blue Our 3 daughters all have brown eyes..our oldest, very dark brown;. Our twins have a light brown, almost a little hazel. Four of my grandchildren have brown, two are blue, and one has my eyes.. both in color and shape.
  8. Hearing fog horns always brings me back to when I was growing up on Staten Island. I lived not far from the Staten Island Ferry and would occasionally hear the fog horns. As an adult, I lived on the South Shore, with the Kill Van Kull down the street; more fog horns. I just love it!
  9. I'm with you on this! Hoping we all can watch the entire Season, without being turned off, in which case, we turn it off. (see what I did here?)
