  1. We bought all of our grandchildren baseball caps while in Bar Harbor two weeks ago. Two of the kids like to wear bucket hats. I thought the bucket hats in the store looked small, so we only bought one for our youngest grandchild. Jim told me to try the bucket hats on to see if they were big enough for one of our granddaughters, and I told him no way was I trying it on. 🙄 Jimbo, the kids now a days all have their own batting helmets....at least, around here they did last year when our grandson was playing baseball.
  2. Absolutely get one!!!! Or two, three....delicious!!! It was my go-to every day at the pool. Just sayin...😁
  3. Beautiful!!! Oh no!! I sure hope you all get to see it! It was great on the ship!
  4. It will be our first JS, as well as first Aft balcony, 7414. I think it is smack in the middle?
  5. We had our pool closed before we left for our cruise and put all of the outdoor furniture away, just in case a hurricane visited while we were away. Thank goodness we did, since Jim has to watch what he lifts for a while since his surgery.😉
  6. Are you on another cruise, Graham? It looks like the windows behind you could be on a ship? Food looks wonderful! Hopefully you'll get caught up tomorrow, Debbie, but try not to overdo it!! That sounds interesting, as well as delicious!
  7. I'm with you, Mark! The days of waiting until November to turn on the heat just doesn't cut it for me anymore!🙄
  8. Happy Anniversary Linda and Greg!! Enjoy your special Anniversary Dinner this evening!❣️
  9. Try not to overdue it at work tomorrow, Debbie! Other than exhaustion, how are you feeling? Loving thoughts for you and Pauline, Graham! We've had the heat on since returning home Thursday night!!! I even went into the attic and got our winter comforter for the bed.
  10. I'm glad that you are not sad about leaving your home. Jim couldn't look back at our home when we left. I, on the other hand, always drive down our old street whenever we're visiting his sister, whose home is 2 blocks from where we lived. Thank you, Mimi. Getting off the ship did not go as it is supposed to. The Port Agent was no where to be seen, and was not answering the phone. I was fortunate that one of the Paramedic's told me the name of the hospital they were taking Jim to, as well as the name of the hotel that was just across the street from the hospital. I went and got a cab myself that was (luckily for me) across the street from the Port.
  11. Thank you, Renee. You sure were lucky to be so close to home. Jim was really hoping to make it back to NJ, but we were still 5 days from the end of the cruise, and he really went downhill... My cousin had begun traveling by RV when the pandemic began,,,not only did she not have to stay in hotels, but she was and is able to take her 2 fur babies on vacation with her by renting the RV's That is great news, Bob. What a relief for Michelline, as well as for you!
  12. Wow! You're selling your beautiful Victorian home and downsizing? We loved our over 100 year old home back in Staten Island, but it was getting to be too much upkeep with the original clapboard, etc. Happy house hunting!!
