Not according to the latest EU updates. Yes on land, ie; trains and buses but not other wise. Not even on planes which are public transport. Celebrity, for example, as of today says masks optional on board for cruises embarking, visiting, or disembarking in Spain and Italy.

Received an email yesterday with Covid protocols for our July cruises. Very puzzled that Carlos Ortega would send out, at this late date, an email referencing requirements per country that are no longer valid. It's June 24th and both Spain and Italy have essentially dropped almost all covid restrictions, yet the O memo references June 3rd restrictions which are no longer valid. Since the June 15th EU updates are clearly available. i do not understand why O would confuse passengers with false info.

On Oceania, the whole ship is the retreat. Sailing in a Vista next month for the first time and will report back. We typically sail in Penthouse Suites and they are vastly better than Sky Suites on X. Every category on Oceania is treated as equal with free access to all dining facilities ( which are indeed The Finest Cuisine At Sea). If you are looking at a cruise on Marina or Riviera ( and soon Vista), you must try La Reserve. High end menu with excellent wines. Chef served to a limited group. Much better than a Chef's Table on X.

Depends on what you are looking for. The O class carries 1250 passengers with 7 FREE restaurants ( top shelf). Not as much nite life as X , true, but most cruises are port intensive. OP, find an itinerary you like and price it out. Then compare a similar one with X to see the difference. We sailed almost exclusively on X until a few years ago when we "discovered" Oceania. Now, other than the edge cruise we are taking in a few days, we have 6 Oceania cruises booked between now and 12/23.

I do have some medical training and have 2 physicians in the immediate family. No co-morbidities, good health ( 5K every day), etc. I also reacted badly to each Moderna shot (never had that with any other). The studies I have looked at do say the Abs wane rapidly on the 4th shot. Much speculation as to why including shot fatigue by the immune system ( ho hum, already saw that). Flew 16 times during the pandemic and cruised in February with no issues. I'd rather wait for the new improved shot this fall if I need to put up with 2 1/2 days of misery again.

We board Edge in 2 weeks then two cruises b2b2 on Oceania . Not cancelling , early '70's, 3 jabs all with Moderna. Opted out of the 2nd booster based on the data that it's only good for about 3-4 weeks.

My point as the OP was that it would be nice to know little things, like how many passengers on board, Covid situation, any port issues, embarkation and disembarkation. Simple things. Don't need food pics. There used to be posts of this sort before Covid and they seem to have stopped.

Why are there no reports from CC members on the latest cruises? Other than the Regatta Covid debacle, I've not seen a single report from the newly refurbed Nautica or other ships currently sailing. Would like to know current passenger counts, etc.

It expanded because the Japanese Government would not let anyone off the ship thereby enabling the spread to healthy passengers. If they had done basic triage and isolated those exhibiting sickness (fever, cough, etc,.) and let the rest fly home, the story would have been quite different.

One more glitch: If you buy say one shore tour, pay for that, then book more on another day, it will NOT give you the 25% discount. You will need to call O and have them correct it as Flatbush has stated.

No. If your last primary series shot was given more than 280 days prior to embarkation, then you need ONE booster to sail in the Med. It doesn't matter when your booster was given. This is a general voluntary EU rule that Regent has elected to follow.
