  1. Mini bar and room service are not included in the AI.package.

we used some drinks from the mini bar without knowing and as we check our bill daily, noticed we had been charged. We refilled the mini bar free from the bars and they took the charge off.Bit petty really but easily rectified at no cost.

All Vines wines under 10$ are free. The wines we tried in Vines for those prices, weren't any better then the wines by the glass anywhere else in our opinion.Didnt much rate the tapas either.

  2. Thank you.I am not at all computer savvy so may call again on you nearer the time to ask more questions.;)

We have booked the cheapest cabin as we assume we will be on deck or out and about a lot. What is the pool like?

  3. Am in total agreement with Martita. Transatlantics are wonderful. Total relaxation, you can enjoy sea days, get up whenever you wish, take part in any or all of the activities. We have never seen a large group on these cruises, probably because the logistics of flying into one location and out of another would be too costly. We have two TA's booked for 2015. We love them.

    Feeling better now.thanks everyone.

  4. Hi,

I will be cruising on Sea Princess next month and was wondering if anyone can tell me how much it costs to use the sanctuary and if it is worth it? Also, are there any hidden costs in using the sanctuary?

I recently saw it on Emerald.I too would like to know if it's worth it and what is there.

  5. If you consider canceling Seabourn because of the minor potential for a group then you must consider giving up luxury cruising completely as no line is immune from that possibility. Keep your booking, anticipate the wonderful time you will have and do not fixate on how one cruise did not live up to Seabourn's usual standards.

I haven't booked yet.Only had Cunard and Princess cruises.I wanted to do a luxury cruise.

Thank you Jeff for your suggestions.I have read the whole thread and they are very useful.

  6. We had had the new drinks package on three cruises now and have usually come out ahead. No, I don't slurp cocktails all day, but with the specialty coffees and Fresh juices as well as soda and smoothies, along with a couple drinks before dinner and glasses of wine with dinner you are able to make it worth your while.

I agree. It isn't about being a constant alcohol consumer. We had proper tins of coke and tonic instead of fountain stuff, bottled carbonated with our dinner, lovely coffees and specialist teas and also many mocktails. We came out ahead for a week recently.

  7. Western Caribbean out of Houston departs Dec 28. She'll be in either Roatan or Belize that day. My first a Princess cruise - will we like the ship?
