  1. from what i noticed over the years doing various water based activity's, the tour operator always has kind of locker system that you use to store stuff
  2. Priority Disembarkation is a perk of being a Gold and higher latitudes member. Maybe this could be it? the immigration inspection is very confusing
  3. best way is go to the roll call section on this forum and ask someone in the roll call to check it in the myncl website
  4. i had a mix experience with all of my cruises this year. On one cruise it was laid out when i first got to the room. Then another cruise it was delivered later in the evening also in the room. Then another cruise it was in the mailbox thing by the door i guess it depends when the onboard shore excursions staff print out the physically tickets and when they deliver it to the stewards to be delivered to the rooms
  5. physical tickets will be delivered in an envelope and will be delivered to your room. you cabin steward will put in your room for you or it will be in the mailslot thing by the door
  6. a regular driver license with a birth certificate or other documents is acceptable.
  7. fun times is no longer delivered to your room. you now need to pick it up at guest services or the coffee shop . the new fun times is a shorter double sided paper that is just a list of the activity. gone are the days of the colorful fun times with the show/activity description
  8. not get off topic but i hate the new facial recognition system. on the ships i sailed on that used them, it is a very slow process. sometimes you have to take off your hat for it to detect you, sometimes you have to stand in like a perfect spot for it to detect you. it does not feel that fast compare to just swiping/scanning the card
  9. its in the getaway roll call page:
  10. did you book the hop on hop off directly from norwegian or did you book it when you get off the ship inside the terminal? I wonder if the tour provider separates the people on the ship excursion
  11. the Getaway is sailing into the storm going to Canada this weekend instead of the original Bermuda itinerary
  12. there is ALOT you dont see under the water from these ships. the ship draft and the channel depth is the two most important measurements. It might look funny but ships need to do movements to avoid bottoming out and running aground
  13. its 50 dollars, no doubling/combining its a wonderful glitch on the website, noticed the same thing on other cruises
  14. i wonder what is going to happen to New York next year. Do they have two ships sailing out of NY, the Magic and the Costa ship or does the Magic remain in Norfolk/Florida?
  15. it depends on the OBC if the TA buys the OBC as a "gift" to you then it is a refundable if it is part of some kind of booking perk then it is non refundable
  16. The Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Sky is doing Caribbean cruises out of Miami in August 2023
  17. yes and i also used it for Carnival and Royal cruises too with no issues
  18. Ive been using Azova since May and its been accepted for every cruise ive been on. they are 20 dollars
  19. I check their FB page every now and then and i seen them make posts that they are open on Sundays when there is a cruise ship docked. open from 7am to 3pm
  20. Most likely not listed yet as they still need to plan the itinerary's considering that is like 2 years from now
  21. Carnival updated their system a few months ago were you can use your OBC for shore excursions and other things in their version of the planner I really really wish Norwegian updates their system with this feature.
  22. St John looks busy with the Joy and 2 other Royal ships. how does the port handle the crowds?
  23. earlier this year NCL changed the number of meals with the free at sea perks. with these changes, the number of meals is now based on the cabin you have and cruise length on a 7 day cruise in a studio, inside or oceanview now only gets 1 meal . on a 14 day cruise, you are getting an additional meal
