It cost money to dock the ship at the port, dropping anchor in the harbor is free its like a car. do you prefer paying money to park at a garage or free parking on the street?

from what i noticed, grand turk is still a carnival corporation port. i have not seen another non carnival ship docked at grand turk the turk government is in talks to allow other cruise lines dock at the port but so far nothing has happen

the soft serve ice cream from the machine is always available 24/7. if you want the regular ice cream that is only available when the buffet is open

if you book a cruise with a ta make sure you contact that ta about being in the upgrade advantage system. not all ta bookings can be offered upgraded bids

another possible is it could be carnival itself. a short cruise to Saint John is not as popular as a Bermuda cruise. Carnival could fill up the ship quicker with a more popular route then Canada . follow the money

When i checked other websites the only Canada cruise i can find for the Magic in July 2023 is a 4 day cruise that was going to Saint John, New Brunswick Carnival website now shows it as a Bermuda cruise Saint John only has capacity for 3 cruise ships. If a berth no longer becomes available on that day the ship is in port, then the itinerary needs to be changed to another port

according to the terminal website, the maximum length is 1000ft. The length of the QM2 over 1100 feet long, longer then the Norwegian class ships that dock at the MCT. the mega Norweigan ships is a little at around 1050 feet long and also sticks out a tiny bit

Getaway cruise for Thursday is canceled

This cruise was diverted to Canada due to the Hurricane Fiona. It was a 5 day cruise and today is their debarkation date. The Getaway no longer has any more New York cruises this year.

i bet the crew love this. a 9+ day break with no guest onboard the ship. they too need a mini vacation
