I have 2 cruises booked next spring on Ascent and neither have any new sale on dining. I keep watching and hoping.

I just got off Mille last week and I was in a Sky Suite on deck 6 and the wall opposite of the desk was magnetic. I brought magnet hooks and tested multiple surfaces because this question keeps getting asked.

But keep in mind it is only valid if you do not use a Blue Chip Club discount. You cannot get the MGM perks and BCC perks on the same booking.

I have a land vacation planned to Turkey for next June. We will be doing 3 nights in Izmir and 4 nights in Istanbul with additional nights in Cyprus and Venice. I am just hoping this situation is resolved sooner and does not escalate further. Unfortunately I also had plans to do a land vacation to Israel and Egypt in October but that will not be happening.

I was just on Millie and I had that package. They assume you will send all 12 items at once. I was in a suite so I asked my Butler and he talked to the Laundry department and they said they would allow me to send 1 at a time and just mark the sheet 1 of 12, ect. But I had already decided to get it refunded. I am not sure if this would be allowed always or on other ships. I thought they would give coupons or something so I didn't have to send all at once.

The ship was actually cleared an hour early. We were able to get off I believe a little after 9 and were on the shuttle in less than 30 minutes. We lucked out and got some of the last seats on the last shuttle that was still at the port going to town. I think it might have bit a little longer waiting for the shuttle buses to return from the first set of drop offs.

Not sure if it depends where in South Korea but we stopped at Jeju Island and it was very smooth. We just went through immigration in the cruise terminal. It was a bit of a crowd getting off because everyone was getting off at the same time. Even with that we were off and through immigration in less than 30 minutes.

We toured on our own.

We actually docked and were cleared early. They started letting guests off around 9:15am. The immigration and customs took place in the cruise terminal and they had about 20 stations open. We got off around 9:45 and were in the shuttle bus and headed to town in about 30 minutes.

Yes the forms were left in our cabin with the instructions.

We have been using our credit card for the majority of purchases. Even the taxis take credit cards. That will usually be the best exchange rate you will get.

There is a bar at the back in the picture with the orange seats. There really no seats at the bar.

I am also on this sailing and unfortunately so far there is not a lot of color changes. Japan had longer warm weather this year and it is just getting started. It is still very beautiful. Here are some photos from Kyoto.

Yes my whole family had it at the market and all said it was tuna.

I will try to get additional pics. I do not find the view affected at all by the lifeboats.

On my booking it does not show as an obstructed view. Honestly it is not bad at all.

I will try to remember to ask but I believe they will do what they can to get it for you. For dinner tonight they did make a pizza for my grandson and it was so good all of us had a piece.

I know I have seen a lot of questions about these cabins. I am currently in the Japan sailing and have some info. First day met the Retreat Host which is basically the cabin steward. He is very nice and has been very attentive. I also have seen the Head Butler the 1st and 2nd days but haven’t really had any requests or issues. The 2 retreat concierges have been great and always available in the lounge. Luminae has not been busy at all and the Maitre D’ actually called my cabin yesterday to check on us. I am traveling with family including my 13 year old grandson and he said just let him know and he will get him pizza. The cabin has been fine for us, we have 2 sky suites. I am attaching pictures of some of the views and storage. I find the room plenty big. Also the wall next to the cabinet below the tv is magnetic. The photos of the water were taken while sitting on the loveseat. Any other questions let me know.

Yes it is now 1 bottle per person. Which is annoying if you sale solo.
