Surely the share price makes absolutely no difference? If somebody bought 100 x Shares at £50, then sold them at £10 then they would have made a £4000 loss, not Carnival. The exact same number of shares are in circulation. Supply and demand just change the price.

The crew are not proud. They'll accept rupees/Krona/pesos. In fact any currency you can mention. We tend to exchange large USD notes for 5's and 10's and despite paying the daily hotel charge, we still tip when we receive exceptional service.

Our champagne goes in the checked luggage. Champagne bottles are notoriously strong and hard to break. Bottles used to launch ships are weakened. Never had a problem.

There isn't one. All earnings at sea are tax free, providing you are out of your home country for a defined period. In the UK it's 6 months. Our daughter had two seafaring contracts, P and O and Colorline. Thr former was tax free as it was 9 months, but with Colorline, she was 2 weeks short, so to save thousands, she had to go on holiday abroad for 3 weeks.

If you're in a Q2, and happy to use Verandah every night, why are you bothering about saving a few dollars on a drinks package. It makes no sense, especially as most decent wines are not included in the package. Just pay as you go. Yes you can take all your meals in your suite, but why? The restaurant is lovely and the level of attention fabulous. You won't get the same service in your room. Sommelier won't visit, and everything will be delivered at once. You may order from the QG menu in your room, but not the Verandah's, although you can order dishes not listed with the appropriate notice. Best advice: just use the QG restaurant and buy the drinks you want,

Been to Rome a few times. Always used Discovery Tours of Italy. They will tailor make a day around where you want to go and see. Great company. Well use them again next year.
