Here is the newest sale scam from Celebrity, a Memorial Day Flash sale on cruise fares. So, because I have nothing else to do, I compared this to our B2B Edge cruises in January and our Sky Suite on the Jan 25th Great Barrier Reef is $2500pp more than we are currently booked. I see that they raised the price on cabins before the added in the new Flash Sale just like the drink's sale. I can't reprice the Jan 13th NZ cruise as they are sold out of Sky Suites on that one.

We only had two sold out excursions on all four of our upcoming cruises and we did not want to risk losing them in the case we could not rebook. One of them was in Grand Cayman next month and it is one our granddaughter who is with us, specifically wanted to do, so no way I would risk it to save a few dollars. One thing I did notice as I looked over the shore excursions for this year, a lot more of them show as being sold out today than yesterday, so I suspect many people took advantage of the new sales pricing and booked them yesterday.

Yes, by doing it online, I never waste my time calling Celebrity as their CS agents are so incompetent. Yesterday I canceled online, every non sold out shore excursions for 4 cruises and rebooked, saving over $1000. Also canceled one 3 night specialty dining package and rebooked saving $80pp.

We stopped using Celebrity shuttles post Covid and now book only private transport to and from the ship. In US ports we use Uber for our transports.

We rebooked excursions yesterday on our 4 upcoming cruises over the next 10 months and saved over $1000. It seems today the excursion prices have not jumped higher like drinks and Wi-Fi did late yesterday. Early yesterday the spa services pricing showed a 30% discount, but by last evening they too were back showing with no discounts. If the early prices yesterday were a mistake that they attempted to fix later, I bet they lost a ton of revenue yesterday morning.. Celebrity again is being consistent about being inconsistent.

I just logged in and I am seeing the same, but earlier today they were a lot less, also on my upcoming cruises the 30% off for spa services from earlier today is totally gone. The shore excursions prices are the same as earlier. What Celebrity gives; Celebrity just as quickly takes away.

If you booked the Classic drinks package at the old price, you could cancel and then book the premium package for what you paid for the classic.
