  1. Radiance Class solarium: 3DD24CC6-26FE-472B-A44F-36D823C95E60.MOV
  2. Cruise Terminal 5 is the Carnival Terminal closest to Disney's Cruise Terminal, and it has its own garage. It has been a few years (5+) since we last sailed on Carnival from that terminal, but IIRC, the drop off and parking were very similar to what you would experience at the old RCL Terminal 10, and we paid prior to parking. You might get more current (and accurate) information if you posted this question on the Carnival Board.
  3. We were on Harmony for the two weeks preceding this cruise, and all of the crew were wearing KN95 masks in public areas, and quite a few were double masked. (although some of them were pulling them down when there were no passengers around.) If there was another RCL ship at Coco Cay along with Harmony (we had Independence along side of us on both legs), then you are comingling ~8,000 people from two different ships sailing from two different home ports with two completely different landside covid profiles. IMHO, not the best idea they could have come up with.
  4. Sort of like when they replaced Harmony with Wonder and the CLS went from ~30 to 4. That was a mad scramble. The GS perks on Radiance class ships are not worth the cost to us, and there are a lot of nicely located JS for us to choose.
  5. They were still sending them on Harmony. I’d email them. LB_Concierge@RCCL.com
  6. That is a totally irrational and impossible requirement for any venue (regardless of where it is located) to meet.
  7. Apparently you don’t even read your own posts. If there is nothing to report, then you don’t report anything. Following your logic, you would require the cruise line issue a report after every cruise that “No one died on board this week”. That would go over well.
  8. We were in a suite, but it wasn’t that crowded out there (When the totality happened I was lying flat out on my back taking pix, and no one stepped on me😇)
  9. But the eclipse party on the helipad was a nice touch.
  10. Actually, outbreak has a CDC definition, as does every other communicable illness. Jimbo is conflating incidence with outbreak, and the two are completely different.
  11. Us as well - I’ve lost count of how many. Heck we’ve had four already post restart.
  12. Why? they don’t report incidences of flu, Noro, or any other gastrointestinal or respiratory illness until or unless it meets or exceeds the level required by authorities for reporting. Why should this be treated any differently?
  13. Or it could be that the cruise ships just aren’t experiencing any outbreaks.
  14. Or, add a "We had to chase you down for your muster drill" surcharge to every drink consumed before they actually show up.
  15. I do not believe the dining packages are sharable.
  16. And yet, when we booked Oasis for August 2017 it was not an "Eclipse" cruise yet. Once RCL figured out that they could tweak their route that week so the ship could experience the total eclipse (it was spectacular BTW), they doubled their prices. Unlike that hotel. our price didn't change one penny from what we originally booked.
  17. True. When we were on Harmony in February, smoking was still prohibited in the casino, but when we were on her the last two weeks in April, the stench was back so I guess smoking is back there as well.
  18. Have been on both Allure and Harmony post restart, and no smoking on either the suite sun deck or on deck 16 (they removed all of the butt bins and ash trays around the mast bar). The only place left for your GF is down on deck 15 by the pool bar.
  19. We always use the basic rule that the top half of your outfit should always be in complete contact with the bottom half of your outfit, but I haven't worn socks on a cruise (except for formal nights or if we go ashore) in years. We just got off a 14-night B2B - brought four pairs of socks - putt three clean pairs back into my sock drawer when we returned.😇
  20. DW puts pockets in all of her dresses to keep her hands warm on deck... And I have a bag of bow ties so I can match whichever dress she wears. The only reason I bring a sport coat on cruises is because she gets cold out on deck in those dresses😘
  21. We are doing the ABC islands as the second leg of our b3b, and pushed Bermuda until August
  22. Spoke last week to a senior officer, and his take was that they were doing excessive testing and isolation of crew, but they were anticipating cutting that way back in the next few weeks.
  23. Figures, we were tested for our 2nd b2b leg on Harmony last week.😩 Makes our B2b2b on mariner in July a lot easier to deal with. Now if they only stopped pre-cruise testing for vaccinated pax it would actually feel a lot like normal again.
