I don't have pictures but have included a link here. The room is laid out differently and there is no couch. Shower is built into the bathroom without any steps. here is link below. My aunt and uncle liked the room.

No couch would be a deal breaker for us

I'm looking at the website right now and cruises to Caribbean destinations are available. I am able to do a mock booking and get all the way to logging in to complete the booking. Maybe it was another website glitch?
She did specifically say Mexico, not the Caribbean.

More concerned with cruising than new restaurants. BTW Mexican/Chinese is too weird.

Also not nearly as accurate
Yes, it is, at first they were not sure, now they are saying the saliva test is just as effective

Nothing is required to fall in exactly the right way. Once the cruising begins, the stocks will go up. Investing IS a gamble. You may not be very familiar with the stock market investing. If you do invest, yo must be doing it in small denominations.
Unless you can for see the future, it is always gamble. If it was not a gamble, everyone would be doing it. Picking one good companies stock and sticking with it is a smart idea if you do not have a lot to loose. ie Walmart. In a matter of minuets you can loose a lot. When the stocks took a major dump a few years back. All you needed to do was pick an old solid company and invest. You would have made a killing. I did. Just should have invested more than I did.
You really need to do some research, 50% of my holdings are stocks, mutual funds and bonds. Historically the market has a 10% yearly gain for last 20 years. Of course there is alway and always will be hiccups like 2008. Apparently the market has been relatively unaffected by Covid, except the leisure industry. The tech section is still exploding. I do NOT see the market as a gamble, but a long term investment which has done quite well in the last 20 years. Day trading travel stocks is gambling.

Testing for Covid is an invasive process.
Appears they are veering away from the nasals swab and are now going with the faster saliva test, not invasive at all

Everyone does know all ports of call have clothing stores near the pier. Except Half Moon Cay, because I know someone will try and correct me. My wife says, if I forget something, I will buy another.

You think you understand their business and why it is up?
FB everyone is on it as they are stuck at home, but advertisers are pulling out, but where will they plug their stuff?
Apple, you see what the supercycle will be like with 5G and their services business, not hard to predict they are doing well.
Seriously? Please look at their charts. both companies are rock solid. Apple has more cash on hand then the U.S. government. Yes, I do understand and am an investor. I bought FB at it’s IPO at about $30 a share.

Southwest was an option when I did my Fly2Fun air, so it is possible. It might depends on where/when you are flying though. I know SW puts flights out after other airlines so maybe the schedule isn't out yet if your cruise is far away? Also, don't know where you are flying to, but if you are sailing out of Miami, there is actually an option to pick your airport (MIA or Ft. Lauderdale) SW will only show up if you change the airport.
That being said, Carnivals Fly2Fun air is actually REALLY flexible despite what coevan said. My air doesn't need paid until final payment of the cruise. On top of that, I can make changes to it up to 90 days before sailing with no penalties. If the price drops, I can match it (I am actually going to be calling 1 week before payment just to make sure it hasn't gone down, once you book you cannot look online anymore with Fly2Fun). The fact you can "lock" in an air price you find acceptable and not have to pay right then and there IMO is a much better deal than having to pay immediately and saving $20.
Also on a note, when I was looking at Airfare SW was crazy in price from my area. $750+ round trip to Florida crazy prices. The price through Carnival was about $550, AA ended up being the cheapest at $390+bag (which we will just do 1) round trip. The same price through AA was about $520+bag.
Please tell me where I wrote that fly 2 fun is NOT flexible? I feel in more control booking direct.

I travel all over the world and would never let someone book my airline tickets. Same with hotel rooms. I might shop Expedia and then call the hotel direct. They all price match and have much more liberal cancellation policies

We are long term holders of CCL stock. Love the OBC feature and loved the dividend. I expect the stock to move upward when cruising resumes but I don't have the courage to buy right now---I may hate myself in a couple of years.
Do you hate yourself for not buying Apple or FB a few years ago? All way up since the pandemic

We find more and more things we agree on. They are fun to post on social media and feel like you are getting everything free. Other than that, the average person is spending way more than they need to. To each their own though.
Coming from someone who doesn't care for drinking packages ever, AI drinks are definitely no huge value for me either. Nearly every hotel I stay at, I grab a bottle of liquor and pack of beer for about $50 that covers a huge portion of my drinks. There really is no cheaper way to drink on vacation. Maybe here and there I may buy a specialty drink if I want something. AI drinks are often weak.
The included food has its advantages, that's for sure. I mean it's not a terrible thing on a cruise. However, I can go to a Hilton where I get free breakfast already. Pick up some food for lunches (if I want), maybe grab a pizza, go to dinners I really want, all for much cheaper. It also adds more variety to the trip when you are going places for dinner vs sitting at the resort. I don't like having to run around to figure out all of my meals, but 1 a day is just fine.
I do agree if you are not a drinker an AI is not for you.

For Panama, decide if you want a full transit or partial transit. That will inform your choice of itinerary.
If it leaves and returns to Galveston, it’s a partial transit

He has worked for Disney Cruise lines, Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
Despite having so many years experience in the Cruise industry, he is leaving for another completely different industry.
it just shows that he does not have any faith in the business prospects of the entire Cruise industry.
And he is the CFO!
Would you? It will not be hard for him to secure a position in another corporation.

Seems like a good idea

Stifling? You feel strained and oppressed or very hot and difficult to breathe. AI’s are so much more open and never crowded, hence the extra money. No kids is a plus for us as well

The Spa areas were always very questionable to me. Even prior to the outbreaks. I am a walker so I utilize the ships designated walking areas for exercise and relaxation. I would be really concerned about the effective cleanliness of the Spa areas especially with the normal indirect exchange of body fluids (sweat) from apparatus to apparatus.
Talking about the spa, not the gym. Pool water does not transmit Covid, people do. Spa and massage studios are open in Colorado. it is very easy to disinfect and change the sheets on a massage table, same with manicures and pedicures in the Spa

Just like a cruise, food can be hit or miss.
I disagree with this, never had a bad meal at Sandals or Couples. Seven restaurants are not hit or miss.

Not sure what you mean, just for the room? AI is AI, as in room, food, liquor, activities and entertainment. BTW, never paid more than $700 a day for a suite.

When are you looking to book? I wouldn't in a million years book a trip now if a vaccine was a pre-requisite for you. I can tell you, it's not a pre-requisite for the AIs. They will taking your money and you'll be able to go now. If you feel like there needs to be a vaccine for you to want to go, then don't book anything. It's just that simple. We don't know when there will be an approved vaccine. We don't know how many doses will go the US and in what time frame. We don't know how they will decide who to distribute vaccines to and in what order and whether multiple doses will be required. There are waaaaaay to many unknowns to plan around a vaccine. You can still plan a vacation, it's purely up to you.
We feel much better with 400 people on 40 acres than 4000 people on 3000’ of ship. No hogging chairs, never had a problem, social distancing will be possible, no on a cruise ship.
