Aida is a German cruise line that happens to be owned by Carnival Corp. I believe each cruise line is making the decision as to whether to sail or not, not the corporation.
Corporations make the decisions on their cruise lines, not the individual ships

It's just a matter of time before they announce a vaccine and that announcement could come as early as the end of the year 🙂

unfortunately not how it works, once the announcement of a vaccine, you have another year of testing and approval.

After many cruises, this is the first I've heard about this type of cabin. Are these on all ships? I'm gonna look in to this asap!

I stay regularly in touch with a bar tending couple on FB. They are now home in the Philippines and as of Monday, they have not heard any official sailing date on the Vista

I think that if you buy Carnival right now, it's not for the OBC, it's a bet on the vaccine. Carnival is probably one of the best vaccine stocks you could buy right now.
I know this is a Carnival forum, but the reality is all travel and leisure stocks will explode when and if this ever ends

I am thinking with all the OBC hanging out there, they might find a way to stop the Casino cash out loophole.

I will even add to it that some of the Taxi drivers can be better tourist guides than any other company out there. There is no one better than a taxi driver who knows all this stuff inside out. I would rather pay him twice the cost of the regular excursion cost to drive me around and tell stories nobody else (the tourists) will ever hear again
We do this all the time, had some of our best excursions with taxi drivers

Since June 9th, the below is how Carnival's stock has performed on a daily basis.

The stock closed today at $14.57/share. Hopefully (depending upon your perspective), it won't revisit the $8.00 (it closed at $7.97 on April 2nd) range it tested earlier this year.

FYI, they are not sailing and not making money. Carnival is not the only stock. Tesla is up over 500% since the new year, no $100 OBC though😁

They are not going bankrupt anytime in the near future.

We have done a few short trips, one to Moab, Utah and saw the arches. Next weekend going to Estes Park in the Rocky Mt. National Park for some fishing and hiking.

Totally agree! Plus, I am a huge history buff. None of the Carnival excursions (as of yet) are going there.
Splurge for a guide, much better than the earphones and more detailed.

Touche' I have always said if you are a moderate drinker at home get Cheers. If you don't drink or are a tea totter, don't.

Bottom line, the drinks on the ships are marked up.
bottom line all food venues mark up prices, were not in business to come out even. Not sure where OC lives but here in Colorado brew pubs beers are $6-8, drinks 10-15, cruise ship is right in line with average prices. In big cities $20 martinis are the norm

Golden Corral is not calling it a buffet, big sign on their billboard, cafeteria style

Now they stopped dividends while pandemic is destroying share value. But you can get it today for about 16.00 a share (a great value).
in your opinion, until they start sailing "safely" without masks and social distancing, the cruise industry is in deep poo poo

and they would know this how? GPS tracking device?

bookings that might not sail for a year, good financials? interesting, experts are saying October at the earliest, is more likely.
