Aida is a German cruise line that happens to be owned by Carnival Corp. I believe each cruise line is making the decision as to whether to sail or not, not the corporation.

Corporations make the decisions on their cruise lines, not the individual ships

I think that if you buy Carnival right now, it's not for the OBC, it's a bet on the vaccine.  Carnival is probably one of the best vaccine stocks you could buy right now.

I know this is a Carnival forum, but the reality is all travel and leisure stocks will explode when and if this ever ends

I will even add to it that some of the Taxi drivers can be better tourist guides than any other company out there. There is no one better than a taxi driver who knows all this stuff inside out. I would rather pay him twice the cost of the regular excursion cost to drive me around and tell stories nobody else (the tourists) will ever hear again

We do this all the time, had some of our best excursions with taxi drivers

The stock closed today at $14.57/share.  Hopefully (depending upon your perspective), it won't revisit the $8.00 (it closed at $7.97 on April 2nd) range it tested earlier this year.

Bottom line, the drinks on the ships are marked up.

bottom line all food venues mark up prices, were not in business to come out even. Not sure where OC lives but here in Colorado brew pubs beers are $6-8, drinks 10-15, cruise ship is right in line with average prices. In big cities $20 martinis are the norm

Now they stopped dividends while pandemic is destroying share value. But you can get it today for about 16.00 a share (a great value).

in your opinion, until they start sailing "safely" without masks and social distancing, the cruise industry is in deep poo poo
