A few years ago on my B2B out of San Juan Puerto Rico. We were escorted off the ship and said we had to wait to get back on with the other passengers. we were not escorted back on. but what I have read, Most get escorted back on the ship.

I have done several B2B and never heard anyone ever talk about boarding with the new passengers.

  2. We have had a coupe of uncomfortable situations dining with others. The biggest problem was at the brunch and we were seated with people bashing Obama and praising the current situation.  We had to excuse ourselves and asked for a new table. they thought it was hysterical. The other experience was in late dining and we were seated with a guy wearing a tank top. We did not even sit and asked to be seated elsewhere. Two days later we ran into him on the lido deck and asked why we left. We told him the truth, we did not feel he was dressed appropriately.  He shrugged in his wife beater.

Those are the numbers. Not the ones the news is blowing up about the number of cases rising and all that hype but the actual % of people worldwide who have died from this thing.

That IS reality ... if you want to live in some artificially created "news" spin that is your choice but that doesn't change the numbers.

Bottom line is this is only fatal to a teeny tiny percent of the population and not the masses.

    Thanks Don

We looked at an all inclusive to replace a carnival cruise just out of curiosity since we are worried about carnival canceling.  The carnival cruise is about $4500.  The all inclusives we were finding were in the $12000 range!  No way.

here you go and the lesser priced rooms are sold out, too lazy to look at other dates. These are club level pool walk out, really nice rooms

No way is correct, never paid more than 5K a week even at Sandals. !2K will get you an over the water bungalow with a butler. I think your stretching. We have been to at least 10 A.I resorts. D.R. and Mexico are close to cruises cruise pricing., Caribbean a little more and a little nicer

Not necessarily. I buy cheers and internet every cruise. I eat in specialty restaurants. I book excursions through carnival. I bet I spend more than a lot of couples.

I only ask for 1 room cleaning a day and I tip extra to make up for the lack of another set of gratuities.

Why are you ignoring A.I. properties? Liquor free, internet free, satellite TV (with real channels) activities all day, free snorkeling, diving, water skiing, wake boards, have you ever been?

P.S tipping is not allowed, saving more money

I guess I’m not a special member because I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and none of them have covered all of my meals and entertainment unless they were a casino expecting to get it back at the tables. And none of them charge extra for a third person.

You do not have to be special to go to an A.I. Meals, liquor and entertainment is included. We love them, always our go to, until cruising resumes where I am in  not fear of getting extremely ill.

Aida is a German cruise line that happens to be owned by Carnival Corp. I believe each cruise line is making the decision as to whether to sail or not, not the corporation.

Corporations make the decisions on their cruise lines, not the individual ships
