  1. We have had a med frig a few times for my husband's medication. They have never removed the existing cooler in the cabin, they usually just set it on the floor next to the desk area. It is the same size ( or very close) to the one already in the cabin.
  2. On my last cruise on Adventure this past spring I was in a jr. suite and all that was in the bathroom was the all in one stuff in the wall mounted unit. I didn't even have bar soap. I asked my steward (who was new to suites) for the standard suite tubes of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash. He came back and said that his supervisor had said that there was no shampoo on the ship 😏 I was also told that there was no creamer for the in cabin coffee available either. This was not the stewards fault, he was honestly trying his hardest but getting no support from his superiors. Long story short - I went to guest services to resolve this (it actually took 3 trips) and finally asked to speak with the hotel director. While I didn't get to speak to the hotel director, two officers showed up at my cabin and we had a chat. The first item that showed up was 16, yes 16, tubes of conditioner for a nine night cruise 🀣 shortly thereafter everything else was in the cabin. That cabin steward and I were like best friends during the cruise as he knew I wasn't upset in any way with him (and I made this explicitly clear to his supervisor) he also received the largest tip I have ever left anyone at the end of the cruise on top of my prepaid gratuities. It was an interesting start to that cruise.
  3. I always stay in cabins very near the elevators and have never had a noise issue
  4. For me - in a heartbeat. The extra space, the large closet, the bath tub and the coffee maker would make it all worthwhile for me.
  5. I did not have reservations for MTD, I only used it twice towards the end of the cruise and had no issue getting right in at 6:30 / 7pm Yes I had to be tested for the cruise because of the stops in Canada.
  6. I did the Boston land and sea excursion, which was interesting even though I am not a "big bus" fan.
  7. Following. I just did the 9 night Canada / New England on Sept 1st on Adventure. She is a great ship - have a wonderful time!
  8. I just hit 356 points last week when I received my block
  9. although I am still waiting from the one from December from Mariner πŸ™‚
  10. On my last two cruises where I had earned a block, I had to go see the loyality ambassador on board the last day of the cruise as I never received any acknowledgement that I had one coming. Both times I had to prove that I had the correct number of points. Loyality ambassadors are falling asleep on the job. On the bright side, just off of Adventure and they do have blocks on board - at least as of last week πŸ™‚
  11. I always travel with a fan. The last time on Symphony, earlier this year, the suitcase I had checked with the porter did not show up in my cabin in a timely order. My room steward, who didn't have to go looking for it - but did, found it in the naughty room. Once they realized the offending object was just a fan, there was not an issue.
  12. Enjoying your review, especially the pre-cruise pictures around the city. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
  13. Symphony is the ship that made me love the Oasis class ships again. Enjoying your review - welcome to cruising. As you have now found out - it's addicting. 😊
  14. I was on Symphony the end of April and the concierge made all of my Coastal Kitchen and all other reservations for me pre-cruise. Jennie and Nadja were the best!
  15. I did in December $92 plus tip to Miami Int'l
  16. Loved your review, your pictures and your fun family. Thanks for taking the time to do this to share with us.
  17. It took me a few cruises to realize just how wonderful sea days are. Now I look at itineraries and how they allocate sea days before I book. For me, the first and last days must be at sea with a few more in between ports.
  18. I prefer decks 8, 9 or 10 mid ship right by the elevators. I have never had an issue with noise being near the elevators, it's my favorite location.
