  1. I have a bad leg (4 years ago I broke my leg and ankle to the point where my foot was on backwards. After 3 surgeries and several blood clots, including being in a wheelchair for awhile, I can finally walk right again since last year. I still have a lot of swelling and pain, but can walk) and I found the walk to be very easy and on level ground...EXCEPT for a small area at the beginning where you go down a small hill. It was fairly easy enough, but I held my husbands hand. Otherwise, it's a super easy walk. They also have another tour that goes to the pineapple field as well and it is supposed to be easy too.
  2. Is that total or per person? I assume this is for the one in PV?
  3. I'm having a hard time find the Juneau one. ??
  4. You are referring to at the Long Beach cruise port. I'm talking about in La Paz at the cruise port. 😊
  5. I just checked out your channel and subscribing. I see that you have been to Alaska and that's on my list of "next cruises to do". Yippee! I can't wait to watch them.
  6. Thanks and I hope you give it a try. It's definitely not talked about around here as much as it should be. Great tour and fun! I'm always looking for something "different" to do to present here on the boards.
  7. Where minor guests can be booked in relation to relative or guardian: Guests 12 and younger If the relative or guardian insists on booking separate staterooms, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Guests 12 and under may not be assigned to a balcony stateroom without a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older) traveling in the balcony stateroom with them. Guests 13 - 17 years of age Can be separated by up to 3 staterooms from a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older). Wow! I had no idea that this could be done for minors under 18. 😶
  8. Do you recall how much it cost to get from a Long Beach hotel area to the Queen Mary? I had to laugh at this...this is EXACTLY what my oldest daughters room ALWAYS looks like when she cruises with us. I don't know how she finds anything and I would hate to be her room steward. 😄 Ok, I have to know what this particular sandwich was? Is it something you can't get in the US? We are leaving in less than 2 weeks on the Panorama and loved your short review. Thanks so much!
  9. Do you like hiking? We did a tour that was a lot of fun with history that was pretty amazing and how various plants are used for medicinal purposes and trees that explode and so on. It was a great tour. They also stopped at various places along the way to tell us about different things. But, it is a hiking (easy) tour. I would highly recommend it (and there's several different tours you can do with them depending on your interests). HERE is my review with tons of pictures if you are interested. You'll have to scroll down the page to where it starts.
  10. We did parasailing in St Thomas and had a blast. It's located right at the marina at Sapphire Beach. It would be perfect to do the parasailing and then walk over to the beach to hang out (or snorkel) for the rest of your time. HERE is my review with pictures.
  11. Just throwing this out here...you mentioned Discover Scuba. We do the Discover Scuba Dives everywhere we go in the Caribbean and LOVE it. Our very first time was in St Thomas at Coki Beach with Coki Dive Center (located right there on the beach). We had such a great time that we have returned two more times and did it again. It's an easy dive, right from shore, and the dive instructors have been amazing. They are very patient with you and you don't go far but there's a lot to see. I have several reviews with a lot of pictures during our dives if you are interested. 2022 dive 2016 first dive ever Our dive 3 months ago (starts at post #136)
  12. If you are looking for something different and "fun" to do, while it's not an ATV tour, how about a boat tour...as in one that you drive yourself and go fast? We did the Rhino Riders while in port once and had a blast! Check out my review with tons of pictures HERE
  13. There's no snorkeling at Harvest Caye (I guess you could take a tour somewhere, but none at the port). Roatan has some of the best reefs at West Bay (as mentioned above).
  14. No, it just takes you from the ship down the pier to the entrance of Taino Bay port.
  15. I don't think anyone ever answered this question about where to go if you are catching a taxi (or specifically an Uber) when you get off the ship at the port. Can you grab an Uber right there in port and are they even allowed up in there? Or do you have to walk all the way down the road and around to the street, like by the hotel? Or is there a shuttle somewhere that take you over there? I'm confused on what to do if we are not taking the bus??
  16. Oh I'm sorry. I don't know why I was reading that and for some reason I read into it that he was certified and you weren't. Oopsy! 🤣 Yea, snorkeling is addicting and once you try to scuba, that will be too. It's just a whole lot different and easier to get those amazing photos! What camera do you use?
  17. I may just have to wait until I get on board and have them apply the gift card and pay for the gratuities then. So I have a $500 gift card and the bottomless bubbles (of course) isn't that much for 4 people. If I use that gift card to pay for it, then is the rest of that gift card balance just put on my account to use up? Or do I have to enter the gift card again when purchasing something else? I'm leaving on my cruise in 13 days so that's not the case for me.
  18. Thanks for the info. We haven't been able to figure out what to do in Mazatlan yet (thought we had an excursion over to Deer Island but then the place we were booking with dropped off the face of the earth and stopped answering me in the last 3 weeks). Love those Pulmonia's. When we stayed in Isla Mujeres Mexico we rented one that looked like a Jeep and had such a blast on it! In Cabo, we won't need a ride (our excursion is right after you get off the dock in the marina). We are needing a ride in La Paz to the marina (past where the free bus takes you to and we are on a time crunch to get there) otherwise we would probably just take the bus and then walk the rest of the way but I think it might be a little too far. In PV, we need a ride from the cruise port around to the other side of the marina at the end.
  19. I booked with a TA as well. I'm wondering if this is the problem. ?? I contacted my TA who said to use the gift cards to buy Cruise Cash. The only problem is...it says you are only allowed to purchase $500 in Cruise Cash per stateroom. Our gratuities for 4 people in the room is more than that ($512) and I still want to purchase the soda package and maybe an excursion as well. UGH! 😡
  20. I did just that and get the screen I posted above...still only the option to use a credit card or paypal only.
  21. Awesome! Thank you so much. Do they just have Uber or also Lyft?
  22. You're welcome. I hope you get a chance to try it out. They are so fun.
  23. I just tried adding...like the bottomless bubbles to it and I get to a screen that allows me to add a gift card. So, it seems to work on that. But still not working on the pre paid gratuities. I'm getting to this area by going to my "Booking & Order Details", which list my booking and stateroom, then my "cruise companions", Then "activities & services order history", then at the bottom is the "get ready for your cruise" and list the "Pre-Pay your gratuities before you sail with the button to click.
