  1. Speaking of chips...my husband try to buy chips to play the craps table and they would not allow him saying that he had to have a credit card attached to the room in order to buy chips. We purchased (over purchased actually) aarp gift cards instead of using a cc this cruise so we didn't attach our cc to the room. I thought that was strange and a bit of a let down.
  2. We have already went on our cruise last week. I won’t need suggestions (of course this doesn’t mean you can’t keep suggesting for others to read going here) 😁
  3. No charge. I just did this the entire cruise last week
  4. Hike BVI. Sorry just seen this
  5. Really? Online it says it's $460 MX which is around $27.80/pp
  6. I am struggling so hard with what to do in this port and we are days away from sailing. I have never been here before. Was originally going to go over to Deer Island but the people at Aqua Sports was talking to me and all the way up to my "How do I book and confirm" reply...then crickets. They totally stopped responding. Now I am at a loss. I'm really not too interested in the way Stone Island looks like so unsure about that. We really aren't "tour" type of people and seeing the sites (unless it's a land vacation and we can see all the sites). (But might have to settle for this and have a few bored teens). We like to stay active with things like atv's/buggies, ziplining, snorkeling, walking rain forest tours or waterfalls and so on. Has anyone done any of these things here (if they even have them here) or have any other suggestions? (Or even convince me why I should do a regular tour like Freddy's or go to Stone Island). I do extensive reviews and like to make them interesting or even visit new places that cruisers haven't done before and want to. I'm ready to send SOS smoke signals at this point...send HELP!!! 😄
  7. Anyone know if we apply gift cards to our account, can you use the account for playing slots in the casino? Does it charge to the room? Or do you have to have cash? I can't remember.
  8. Yes, very shallow and plenty of area's you can stand up in. The whole area is pretty shallow up and down there along the sides. 🙂 You can check out my review with pictures and you can see the top of the water versus the bottom. HERE
  9. Thanks so much for that! I will make a note of it and look for the yellow taxis. Good to know! Do the buses stop right at the port where you get off the ship? How do you get them to stop where you need them to? (I'm not even sure I'd know where to tell them lol). I'm not going far. Do they only stop at a certain bus stop only?
  10. No problem. I hope you find something suitable. 🙂
  11. Using that link...it goes to a weird looking website. I clicked on the bottom for tours and nothing comes up like this tour. Are you sure you have the right link? I see one for Deer Island (which is where we actually wanted to go) but it looks like you kayak to it (which is not what we want to do). I don't see the tour you are describing at all on there. 🤷‍♀️
  12. I'm not seeing what a "Turo" is? That park looks gorgeous!
  13. Exactly. I was hoping it would just go on my account and stay there to use during the cruise instead of having to reload once on board.
  14. Oh my gosh...are we related somehow? 😄 You sound just like me. When I first purchased my D10 14 years ago I absolutely LOVED it and that's what got me hooked on taking pictures AND snorkeling. The pictures were amazing. However, after several of them dying on me, including batteries dying all the time, I learned years ago I needed one more camera as a back up and would carry 2 camera's with me. Eventually I would go on to purchase extra batteries to take along and extra chargers. I was PREPARED!! Then I switched to Olympus Tough cameras. I started with the TG4, then I bought two TG 6 after I discovered the macro on it was to die for. Then I added a GoPro Hero 7 (which is probably the crappiest GoPro ever made but it was a Black Friday special I got for cheap) and now I have the GoPro 10. I still have some of my older Olympus camera's but my munchkin cracked the screen and can only be used on land. So, it just sits around now...as a just in case. I have so much equipment I bring along with me...chargers, batteries, straps, SD cards, filters, tripods, extensions. I go all out these days and I absolutely love it! It's my passion and I get so much joy in putting my reviews and video's together. I could do this full time for sure! Maybe some day. 😊
  15. I have a bad leg (4 years ago I broke my leg and ankle to the point where my foot was on backwards. After 3 surgeries and several blood clots, including being in a wheelchair for awhile, I can finally walk right again since last year. I still have a lot of swelling and pain, but can walk) and I found the walk to be very easy and on level ground...EXCEPT for a small area at the beginning where you go down a small hill. It was fairly easy enough, but I held my husbands hand. Otherwise, it's a super easy walk. They also have another tour that goes to the pineapple field as well and it is supposed to be easy too.
  16. Is that total or per person? I assume this is for the one in PV?
  17. I'm having a hard time find the Juneau one. ??
  18. You are referring to at the Long Beach cruise port. I'm talking about in La Paz at the cruise port. 😊
  19. I just checked out your channel and subscribing. I see that you have been to Alaska and that's on my list of "next cruises to do". Yippee! I can't wait to watch them.
  20. Thanks and I hope you give it a try. It's definitely not talked about around here as much as it should be. Great tour and fun! I'm always looking for something "different" to do to present here on the boards.
  21. Where minor guests can be booked in relation to relative or guardian: Guests 12 and younger If the relative or guardian insists on booking separate staterooms, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Guests 12 and under may not be assigned to a balcony stateroom without a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older) traveling in the balcony stateroom with them. Guests 13 - 17 years of age Can be separated by up to 3 staterooms from a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older). Wow! I had no idea that this could be done for minors under 18. 😶
  22. Do you recall how much it cost to get from a Long Beach hotel area to the Queen Mary? I had to laugh at this...this is EXACTLY what my oldest daughters room ALWAYS looks like when she cruises with us. I don't know how she finds anything and I would hate to be her room steward. 😄 Ok, I have to know what this particular sandwich was? Is it something you can't get in the US? We are leaving in less than 2 weeks on the Panorama and loved your short review. Thanks so much!
