  1. Yes they hold 4 people 👍🏼
  2. Since omeinv has gave you suggestions on diving, I'll chime in on the snorkeling. I would say in St Lucia, snorkeling between the pitons at Jalousie Beach was amazing (we've been twice) and the amount of fish, sea life and coral has been amazing each time. You can check out both of my reviews on my travel web page/blog HERE and HERE. There's tons of pictures to show you. Snorkeling in St Thomas, I would highly recommend Coki Beach. They have some amazing coral and fish there. We've done snorkeling and discover scuba there. Reviews are HERE and HERE
  3. We do discover scuba on every vacation and vacation 4x yearly. You CAN scuba out in the ocean (deeper at the reefs and reachable by boat) but IMO and other divers have told me many times, Cozumel is a place that is usually a drift dive, which makes it very hard for beginners because the water can be pushing you sideways. I'm by far not a beginner (but with an injury to my foot which sometimes makes it hard in wavy water) and only did 1 of our 2 dives out far in the water. My husband and 13 year old daughter managed well...I did not. (Some due to the instructor who decided to pull me down when I wasn't ready...several times, which instantly upset me). However, you can always do a shore dive and they are a little better for a beginner that hasn't done it before and less "wavy". For our shore dive, we did a spur of the moment (after the deeper ocean dive) with Sand Dollar at Sunset. Our instructor was great and plenty to see...along with the underwater web cam. 🙂 If you're interested in seeing pictures and our experience of both dives...you can find the shore dive HERE and our open water dive HERE
  4. Just my thoughts... When you have your own equipment you get a better fit and you don't have to worry how a vendors equipment will fit once you get there. The number one reason I can think of is that the snorkel that vendors use are just the "tube" and it allows water to come in easily. Nothing like a mouth of saltwater. When you buy your own make sure to get the dry snorkel. It has a piece on the top that will keep the water out while you snorkel. It can make or break an experience. Yes, you will take up extra room in the luggage, but IMO so worth it. I bought the smaller fins, which take up less room, back in 2010 and they have been working great ever since and we vacation 4x a year. The ONLY reason I can think of to not buy your own is you never plan on doing this activity again...like ever. 😉
  5. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
  6. It's in April so not quite 6 months. If it has to be 6 months before in order to use 2 certificates, why did it give me the option to click 2 of them that I had? It grayed out the other 6 on the list. Then gave me a price with using both certificates. 🤔
  7. Check out Javin Tours. He took us to an old cotton building and told us history and about his life there and what they used to do. Then we went to a rain forest and we did a hike while he told us neat things about the jungle. He also has a pet monkey that came along with us and it would go to people to hitch a ride along the way. We stopped for snacks and drinks and then down to the lava rocks to explore. Then they provided lunch. We ended the day with some going to the beach and others going to a snorkeling area (and the monkey swam with us) 🙂
  8. We've been there twice (not sure if you have already left since it's November already...but for others), I did a complete review of this place with pictures if you are interested on my travel blog/website...located HERE and also HERE There's plenty of shopping, food and drinks, the very large pool, zip lining, beach and also an animal place. There's plenty to see and do and places to hang out at. It's a very large place.
  9. I booked a cruise yesterday and it gave me the option to use 2 CruiseNext certificates. It brought my total owed price down by the $500. It ask if I wanted to pay in full (the reduced price after 2 certs used) or if I wanted to defer it and pay $0. I deferred it (so that I could transfer my booking to my TA) and then at the end and when I received confirmation it stated that one of the certs had trouble applying and the price went back up by $250. Anyone know why or what's going on and why it didn't apply?
  10. Thank you for the info. Can you tell me about how deep it was in that snorkeling area?
  11. Oh ok, you have to make a reservation to ride? I didn't realize that. So that's good because you won't have to stand in long lines for a long time then I hope.
  12. It's been years since I've been to Chankanaab and I know things have really changed. I can't seem to find a way to book admittance to the park or activities. Does anyone know the website to use? Has anyone done the SeaTrek and/or the Snuba there? Are they in different areas? When you pay the price to do these, does it include the price of admission to the park? SeaTrek: Do they have monuments and things to see under the water? I assume they take pictures of you like the other SeaTrek places do. Anyone know the cost? Is it in a different area than the snorkeling? Are you allowed to bring your own camera's or GoPro? Snuba: Is this done in the snorkeling area with the sculptures? Are you allowed to take your camera or GoPro? TIA
  13. How far out is the snorkeling area? Or is it by the shore? Is there a coral reef or a sandy bottom with spots of snorkeling and fish?
  14. That price does sound like a good one. Do you know where they dive at?
  15. I have this as well. So it's only for the Escape and only for the 16th right? That will be 1 week too late for us to be able to go. 😞 My daughter goes back to school from spring break on the 16th. Boo hiss!
  16. I always had luck with asking in the past...but that was post covid so who knows now. I definitely would give it a shot!
  17. Thanks for all your help. I'm still left a little confused. According to my account on NCL, it says that I have 8 cruise certificates and I'm left scratching my head about them. I know there's no way I bought that many on my last cruise because I had started cruising with other companies at that point. Did they add some during covid? I also see a Your 10% Off Coupon – Latitudes Cruise, Norwegian Escape, April 16th 2023?? What and where did that come from? Is that saying I get an additional 10% off if I cruise only the Escape? I'm left scratching my head at this point.
  18. There's plenty of taxi's or open air buses to take you anywhere you want. Like the previous poster said, it depends on what you are looking for in a beach. So many beautiful beaches there. You can take a look at my travel website and see if any might be what you are looking for. Here's the St Thomas link. We've been many times by cruise ship and we've land vacationed there a few times.
  19. Their official website by the wife (owner) is HERE their official fb is called Little French Key Resort -LFK (not the others which is still under control by the ex husband). You could also reach out to Larissa on there.

  21. Not sure if you've already been or not but the snorkeling spot is in deep water along the way to Gibbs so that's probably why they say that. The stingrays come up at the beach at Gibbs so you won't have to worry about swimming during that part. The island is very pretty.
  22. Grand Turk is easy to get around and you can tour the whole island in very little time with no problem. You'll have plenty of time to stop for a bite to eat or a beach as well.
  23. We did a buggy tour to Jade Caverns. It was so much fun. We drove our own buggy's and went to Jade Caverns and you were able to jump from up top into the cavern, they told history and then we drove to another cavern and then to a little town. It was a great tour. We used Wild Tours for our excursion. If you are interested, I have a travel website with our adventure that day and tons of pictures so you can see the place located HERE.
