  1. Thanks for the info. My condition was diagnosed months after booking the cruise
  2. We have always chosen the insurance when we book . But we never pay off the cruise until final payment comes around.
  3. Jimbo5544, we have been cruising for 20 years and ALWAYS get insurance for our cruises. Yes my claim is for medical and it was not a pre existing condition. It’s a legitimate claim. I was diagnosed with cancer months after we booked the cruise, and had two operations in March of this year. All the paper work showed it.
  4. I’m attempting to contact AON to find out the reason for basically denying my claim. I had two cancer operations in March but the cruise was booked in March 2022 and the cancer was not detected until August of 2022 so it could not have been denied for a pre existing condition.
  5. Just a warning to anyone who is thinking of using Carnivals travel insurance. This company is a rip off. Filed a legit medical claim for $3,800 dollars and got back $198.00.. Looked at the reviews, 99.9% are having to wait months for a settlement, if they even get one then.I read many reviews that say the same thing over and over, this company is a rip off. Beware stay away from Carnival travel insurance
  6. A few cruises back at Miami my bag did not show up in the claims area. Everyone looked for it from one end of the area to the other no success. Went home hoping for a phone call saying it was found. Well it was found. What happened, was the bag fell off the cart with nobody picking it up. Possibly this same thing happened to you.
  7. Our last three cruises we got $25.00 each. And an e-mail this week confirmed that we will receive $25.00 on our April cruise.
  8. Platinum guests get $25.00 dollars cash from the casino compensation for no tournaments being held. Guess you can call it a perk
  9. Two come to mind, first going through the Panama Canal locks. Amazing technology for its time. The second was a whale watch out of Icy Strait point Alaska.
  10. Can’t answer the separate line question. I go right along with my wife who is handicapped into the check in area, we are platinum My wife uses a walker and at Long Beach we go through the entrance, check in and are directed to the elevators bypassing the ramp. My guess is both your daughter and husband will be allowed on the elevator with you.
  11. Found the text portion to be erratic on how long it takes to deliver the message. Otherwise the app is helpful in planning your day and if you have YTD for making reservations
  12. Try a Carnival PVP. A couple of times ours has come up with cabins not on the website.
  13. If you arrive around 1:30 or later you should encounter very little delay. We arrived at Miami, I know different port and went right into the terminal without any delay.
  14. Yes. Suites have the same privilege as diamonds and platinums. A check in time is required whether you pick one or Carnival assigns you one when you don’t choose one. You can arrive at any time, 10:30,12:00, 1:00 or 2:00 you go right to the check in counters no waiting on line. When we arrive past our check in time we just walk up to a Carnival rep at the door to the terminal show our boarding pass and are ushered right in.
  15. Do they have their own luggage? If not maybe a child’s rolling piece or a backpack cruise related. My wife does tee shirts for us every cruise. Expand it to the four of you. A reservation to the Dr. Seuss breakfast. Hope this helps.
  16. Suites check in at anytime. Your boarding pass must contain a check in time to print it out. Suites board before or after, diamonds platinums, not sure, I think before diamonds. We are platinum and get on for a first check in time. We are always up early, and would rather hang around the ship than the hotel.
  17. Have never seen a beer purchased at the pizza station in all my cruising
  18. Did you see the offer on the Carnival web site. I get a blank screen.
  19. We have done Hawaii two times. First time was in May and the weather was chilly, not cold, sunshine and not to rough all 5 crossing days. The second was a year ago March, sailed to and from Hawaii. The crossing both ways was sunny but cooler in the daytime but real cold in the early evening, Really rough crossing both ways all day and night.
  20. Diamonds etc. board first, then comes fttf. Show up when you want to. You do not have to adhere to the check in time. Everyone is required one to be able to print boarding passes.
  21. Eight days are better than seven, with that said. Would skip the Bahamas, hate to miss HMC, and do the St. John 7 day cruise.
  22. The first to board are suites, wedding parties, diamond, and then platinum followed by everyone else. When you select your time 10:30ami if you're lucky, then the mob is checked in, it's a zoo until about 1:00pm. The latest you can arrive depends what time you sail.If sail away is 5pm, final boarding is usually 3:30pm, I would not cut it that close. We are platinum and one time we came down on the train from Port St. Lucie. Had a rental car delay in West Palm Beach an hour train ride, arrived at the Port of Miami around 2pm, walked right on the ship
  23. Our April 21st. Cruise does not open until April 7th.
  24. FTTF works the same as Platinum and Diamond. You need a check in time to complete and print out your boarding pass. Arrive anytime you desire.
  25. If Canada is restricting cruises from the Inside Passage sounds like no matter what cruise you take round trip or one way you could be sent around Vancouver Island on the ocean side.
