We have used Overlord tours twice....you can plan your OWN day...they are fantastic.

I enjoyed all these ports...Sadly, the reason to do a Baltic is to see St. Petersburg....I probably would not book one without, but who knows how long it will be to get into Russia, so if you want to be on a ship more time, go for it.

I am sorry but what part do I not know what I am talking about ......The area, because we have spent more than 1 month total in theat area, or the part where no cruise lines do that area justice. The reason MOST go on that cruise is because of ALL the sights in that area, and not 1 line spends enough time there.

This area really should be done on it's own....WITHOUT a cruise. NONE of them do it justice, long bus rides, short visits everywhere you go. We have been in that area twice, and still there are some things to see. Go in early or after a cruise. Stay in Bayeux or Honfleur. Then get on your ship...when you get to the port that goes to the beaches, there are other fantastic things to see. We have used OVERLORD TOURS twice and they are fantastic

None of them really for the beaches.....Best to fly in and explore the area BEFORE getting on a cruise....Otherwise you will miss so much of the area you want to explore. You will spend enormous times on busses. We have done this area a couple of times now. There are also wonderful things to see on the day the busses go to the beaches. This area IS the reason people pick these cruises, and so much is missed because one day really is not near enough......

If you are going to a hotel, call them and ask which company they use, and set up a private transfer.

Fly into Paris for a few days.....then take the chunnel....do London for a few days......THEN board the ship, unpack and enjoy.

Spend time in Wales and Scotland...or fly to Dublin and do Ireland right.....

Depends on HOW sensative......Yes, it is very fragrant...but also it has good ventilation...and if you go in the spring or fall, you won't have extreme heat to add to it.

A....You want to go to Bergen

I have had people before we ever went to Pisa say...buy a postcard... We skipped it on our first visit....We have stayed in Florence for 5 days and have seen it all...we also have been back a few times since. When we finally had the time to see all Pisa has to offer, we really enjoyed it.....You will not do EITHER justice if you try to cram them both in. Pick one, hopefully you can go back...There are wonderful little towns all over the area.

Hands down...The Majestic

This is an awesome place....It actually is FREE unless you go into the visitor center, and what you really pay for is parking.....THIS IS AN AWESOME PLACE....We have been twice, and would go again, plus if you go the right route, the scenery is beautiful.

I love the river cruises......That being said, NOT to the Normandy and Paris region....that area is best seen by car, train, or private chauffeur. There are better regions for those...The Rhine, Danube......

BEAUTIFUL......My favorite time in Europe

Check in to your hotel, splash some water on your face, have breakfast....and hit the pavement, Hop on Hop off bus....Lunch, Dinner and normal bed time....

St. Petersburg is the GEM of any Baltic cruise......That being said, I would maybe wait until they are back on the Baltic schedule. Most of the smaller more exclusive lines have a 3 day in St Petersburg. If you loved Crystal (as we did) look at Azamara, Regent, Silversea and Seabourn...Smaller ships, less people. I hear Crystal is rising from the Phoenix...and will be with us soon again.

I would re-think the August part for Italy .....It PROBABLY will be SUPER HOT & CROWDED...

Maloney and Kelly...we just used them for a chauffeur tour of Ireland for 19 days.....And we used Abercrombie and Kent in France for 3 weeks....BOTH excellent

We just stayed in Kinsale...would be a lovely place for lunch...and the Titanic Experience is awesome...My suggestion is a private car hire...there should be tons to choose from.....

At that time of year you will be able to find Xmas ornaments in just about every gift shop in ALL those places. HAVE FUN

I would say YES to the first question....MANY things to the second...and to the third, there are no stupid questions...Soooo We always use a TA, even though I do an enormous amount of research myself. She books all of our pre and post of any cruise we do, she gets us better buss class air, OBC's even on the river cruises...books all of our transfers, and hotels, and our private tours...Once I gather my info, I hand it off so she can do her magic......Enjoy your trip
