Is that Jan 17 2022 a 7 nighter and same itinerary as above ?

    Yes

    If the 12/31/2021 (7-night) ends on 1/7/2022, and the next 7-night might be 1/17/2022, can we guess those 10 days between are likely cruises of 4 nights (1/7 - 1/11), then 3 nights (1/11 - 1/13), then 4 nights (1/13 - 1/17)?

I remember long ago when D+ used to get early email notifications for bookings . . . .

Princess Elites [Elite after only 15 cruises] not only get new itinerary notifications* but they can book all new releases one day before most everyone else -- including most TAs.

*On the CruiseCritic Princess forum, some members get and share new itineraries and prices on the forum at least a week before the new releases are available to book.

.... But I guess we're talking about different management and release strategies -- in addition to VERY 😮 different IT (programming) departments and capabilities.

    Let us know the outcome.

I tried 4 times.  Here are my results:

    1. D+ line:  Gone for the day.

--- Next 3 tries are from 1-866-562-7625*, listen to most of message then hit 5:

    2. Jacob:
      a. Wanted to now how I knew how I found out that these sailings were available; I told him I read the press release.
      b. The sailing dates are there but the release has been delayed.
      c.  Try calling every week.

    3. James:
--  Release has been delayed; try calling the end of next week.

    4. Fernando:
      a.  Release has been delayed; try calling end of April.
      b.  Any sailing dates from Los Angeles are unconfirmed and may be changed.

*Jacob told me that current hours for this line are daily 7am-2am EST.

-- Good to know, if this is correct!

Something else must be up, like negotiations didn't finalize, they need to re-jig the calendar or someone on the deployment team has a cat and it needed a bath tonight.

Maybe they found a way to stuff her through the canal and now they can add some more cruises or maybe someone's cat needed a bath tonight.

I'm going with the cat excuse.

Better the cat excuse than "the dog ate my calendar"!

What year is Navigator having a 46 night window?  this?

When Mariner made the voyage around Cape Horn in 2009 it lasted 46 nights.  It looked like this:

        •    Port Canaveral to Rio de Janeiro - 15 nights
        •    Rio de janeiro to Valparaiso (around the Horn) - 15 nights
        •    Valparaiso to Los Angeles - 16 nights

What would it look like if Navigator repeated Mariner's 2009 voyage around the Horn?

Navigator has a 3 night sailing from Miami on April 22, 2022.  Her last Miami turn around day is April 25, 2022.

        •    April 25, 2022 to May 10, 2022 - Miami to Rio de Janeiro
        •    May 10, 2022 to May 25, 2022 - Rio de Janeiro to Valparaiso
        •    May 25, 2022 to June 10, 2022 - Valparaiso to Los Angeles

That's 46 nights and it fits quite handily into her schedule.  Coincidence?

Do the math... solo in a suite with the double points promo 😱

    Okay Everyone,

    So it's Thursday night already.

Usually the new sailings are released by Wednesdays, right?

Do any of you have a best guess now as to what day and time we will see the new Navigator sailings out to book?

    Thanks for your thoughts!

4-5 days cruises peak my interest.

Dancing? Yes. Disco or Club music*? Not really.

Just a slight qualification, since the OP is specifically interested in 4-5 day cruises, on the shorter itineraries I do see dancing in Princess' traditional disco dance clubs (Skywalkers/Club 6/The One5).  [At least in my experience, because I make it a point to check out these venues at night.]

*Yes @skynight -- I can see that if we're referring to EDM/Electronic Dance Music -- this style is less frequent in these Princess venues.  But I certainly have seen dancing to 70s-80s disco in addition to pop/hip-hop/soul/etc there, usually.

    Cheers, -R-

The Navigator is moving to LA in June 2022 and doing 3, 4, 5 day Mexico itineraries, with a couple of 7 day Mexico, but only going to Catalina, Cabo and Ensenada.

Correct for the 3/4/5 itineraries, and the Navigator 7-day itineraries will include Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán:

    https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/navigator-of-the-seas

    "WANDER FROM THE WEST COAST

In summer 2022, LA becomes your jumping off point for epic weekend adventures along the Baja coast and the Mexican Riviera. For the first time in over a decade, Royal Caribbean® heads west with the Amplified Navigator of the Seas®, sailing a mix of short cruises from Los Angeles to Catalina Island, Ensenada and Cabo — plus longer wanders to Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán."

    Hi Patti & Bill!

-- YES, Definitely!  Miss you guys!  Hopefully we'll see each other on Royal Caribbean again soon enough.  (Our last 9 West Coast cruises have been on Princess [from SF/LA/Seattle/Vancouver], and currently our next 10 cruises are booked on Princess.)

-- Now that RCI is coming back to California, we'll email you the next time we have a booking on Royal Caribbean👍.  (Our last time on Royal was September 2018 on Explorer of the Seas, out of Seattle.)
