  1. Perfect, thank you...I know I wasn't going crazy, I had seen this before just couldn't remember.
  2. Not that I owe you (and your history of snarky responses) an explanation, but as a courtesy I will answer your question. Typically, while playing in the casino I order from a waiter who brings me a drink therefore I am tipping for the delivery. The vouchers, I walk up to a bar or a beverage cart and receive my "free" drink. Secondly as another poster mentioned, I have been told by staff the tip is included. The casino drinks are a different story.
  3. Actually, you started by pleading for folks to "tip". For myself, I tip, often generously. However, I don't like others telling me what to do with my money. Tipping is getting out of control with sneaky additions on receipts or extra screens to shame you into tipping at check out. Almost as bad as that, I find people encouraging me to tip beyond annoying. Now as far as vouchers go, you get a zero balance on your voucher receipt and that is if they decide to give it to you. It is clearly stated on the Crown and Anchor perks page (footnote) In addition. on a couple of occasions, I have specifically asked, out of general curiosity, and was told the tip was included in the "free" voucher. Could be false, I don't know and I don't care. The voucher is an earned credit, typically I quickly grab my voucher drink and off I go. As for the Casino free drinks, I always tip cash...every drink, period.
  4. Typically they have the wine and beer on a table prior to walking into the theater. I was told, you have two hands so take two drinks. Secondly there was no one stopping you if you wanted to go back to the table and grab another round. I witnessed multiple folks doing just that. Keep in mind they do remove the table of drinks rather quickly once they feel everyone has shown up.
  5. That is interesting... maybe, similar to the other poster lovelife, you are cruising too much and that shuts off the flow of offers? Be nice someday if an ex-employee would come clean and explain all the parameters involved to get offers.
  6. You get a zero balance receipt. If you want to tip on a perk you have earned...have at it. Oh and FYI, before the tip police start attacking...I am an above average tipper.
  7. How often do you cruise? You will get more offers if you cruise more often. Cruising once or twice a year probably puts you outside the algorithm. FYI, the offers show up on the Club royal page several days before the mailings. So hopefully you are checking the website and not relying on mailings.
  8. The vouchers include gratuity. If you want to give extra that is up to you. Even though they are not supposed to, over half the time the crew hands you the drink without a receipt.
  9. You will each get a bag of shrink wrapped clothing. For example a T-Shirt will be folded and compressed into a wallet sized cube and an obnoxious skin irritating tag will be placed on it as well. Needless to say, I never use the service anymore.
  10. All unfounded speculation on your part. The idea the Celebrity brand will now be tarnished because it cruises out of Port Canaveral is ridiculous. It certainly has not "dumbed down" the Disney brand. As far as your "demographic" comment...wow...
  11. To answer your question...yes there are quite a few. So many that they will fill any Celebrity ship that comes to Port Canaveral. I live about 14 miles from the Port...now you tell me, with all the cruises that leave from my backyard from one of, if not the largest port in the world...why would I drive 3 hours down a super speedway to go on a ship? I am sorry that you have to fly...but that has nothing to do with my situation. I moved where I am for a reason and I am taking advantage of it. Celebrity is my favorite cruiseline and I couldn't be happier I can now take an uber to sail them.
  12. The CC community is relatively small so there is no one singular RCCL person who is tasked with monitoring this particular board. Social Media offers great Insite to the pulse of what the general feel is toward the marketing of a product. (In this example RCCL). To blindly say RCCL Marketing/Finance/Compliance is not intrigued with what social media has to say about their product is extremely naive. Right now the cruise industry is looking for ways to make up for Covid losses. They currently are in a "bend but do not break" strategy.
  13. I was thinking the same thing. Taking some fruit, cookies or packaged items might be a good idea but a plate full of dinner (which would not fit in the small fridge to begin with) is a recipe for a gastrointestinal disaster.
  14. Just a suggestion, if you work for/with RCCL you can check with their Social Media team and report back. There is a high interest in these boards and other/similar social media sites. I am not going to divulge how I know this.
  15. Which part? I am not assuming they monitor the boards. A for it being good people voicing their opinion...probably true as you never know what you get in cracker jacks.
  16. These boards are monitored by Royal Caribbean so it is good people voice their opinion on the subject. I can assure you if they are floating the idea out there via survey, they are leaning towards making this come to fruition. My opinion is the pizza on Royal ships is absolutely low grade and one of the worst at sea. I love pizza and I rarely go near it unless it is late night with no other options and even then it is a bad idea to go to bed with that heartburn laden garbage in your stomach. Similar to the Dinasaur, the once all-inclusive nature of cruising is rapidly going away. Oh, and for the record, there is no @#!*!! way I would pay for their pizza.
  17. Slow your roll...there have been incidents in the Labadee cruise port...just google it or read one of the other multiple threads on this issue that have popped up over the years.
  18. It is called a redemption machine. No skill involved. To win is all about timing...as in being at the right time at the right place.
  19. Yeah...well I remember when the last night of a cruise you got a stack of envelopes and you put in what you wanted. There was no auto-grats.
  20. Wow...Hello fellow Hoosier...Dog and Suds...have not heard that name for awhile...my sisters worked there way back in the day... it was walking distance from the house.
  21. I recently took my daughter on a Royal cruise with the same itinerary. My daughter had 4 months remaining on her passport. Upon filling out the required online documentation, Royal gave a little pop-up note stating they "suggest" the passport have 6 months or more. I disregarded the suggestion and went on the cruise with zero problems.
