  1. Update: just wanted to let you know that after quite a bit of frustration I was able to swap out my perks..likely thanks to you all ๐Ÿ˜Š I wanted to speak to the vacation planner that left me a couple of voicemails. Turns out she called me in error, as she didnโ€™t realize we had a firm booking ๐Ÿ™„ and she referred me to the call centre. Regardless I asked her hypothetically if one can change the perks without any other change as I heard it was possible from what Iโ€™ve read on cruise critic ๐Ÿ˜Š ..she said yes! She then offered to pass me onto a call centre rep but would explain what I wanted before hanging up. All seemed to go smoothly until I got the new invoice and the obc that I should have received as I booked on board was removed ๐Ÿ˜ž. I called back ๐Ÿ˜“ and the rep said I didnโ€™t have any perks at all ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ค... I then asked to speak to a supervisor who eventually corrected everything. Long story short...the reps Iโ€™ve been talking to these days really need some training ๐Ÿ˜”...or maybe their reservations system needs a major overhaul ๐Ÿ˜•
  2. Thanks all, Iโ€™ll double check everything when everyone opens back up after the holidays.
  3. Hi, (Merry Christmas to all celebrating today!) What happens exactly if I miss the 60day deadline to transfer my booking to a TA? Can I transfer the booking still, but perhaps lose the OBC that I received as I booked on-board? Or does the booking need to be cancelled then rebooked with the TA risking losing the cabin? (I really donโ€™t want to transfer my booking but I am getting a little frustrated with the celebrity reps (one told me I had 90 days prior to sailing to transfer my booking!) I am waiting to talk to a cruise planner who will hopefully straighten everything out for me)
  4. Thanks ipeeinthepool (๐Ÿ˜), youโ€™re explanation is helpful ๐Ÿ‘ Iโ€™m then suspecting then that for those people who were able to change the perks, there was no fare change. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
  5. Iโ€™m the OP and Just wanted to update you all with a new development .. I waited a few days to call back and look into swap out the two perks that I originally chose. I was told that I couldnโ€™t do anything right now because the two perk option is not available with this current promo - you can only choose between 1, 3, or 4 perks. All I know about all of this is that it has become more confusing / complicated than it needs to be Iโ€™m sure. ๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜’ (FYI..need to stick to two perks right now, as three perk option is too much money...need to stick with refundable deposit)
  6. Ok thanks! I did ask the rep if she was sure and she said yes, but Iโ€™ll try again and see if Iโ€™ll get another answer ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
  7. Hi, I have a question please.. Can I change the perks I want without change to price? We aren't sailing until next fall so are before final payment. The Celebrity rep said that while it is possible to change perks, it would result in a refare (and it is more expensive since the cruise price has increased) Just thought to ask you all and see if that information is correct. (we had wifi and obc, but since the beverage no longer has the surcharge, Iโ€™d like to change to wifi and beverage)
  8. We celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving last month and was a little disappointed. The turkey was more of the sliced roll type and the rest unmemorable. Surprisingly enough the lunch buffet had a really nice selection with carving station and all the trimmings. Maybe try to remember to check it out. I was impressed that they thought to do something. Most likely because the cruise started in Canada I suppose.
  9. Thanks mom says, that was what I was hoping..that the cabin isnโ€™t directly across from stairway entrance. (I canโ€™t remember for sure but I think the sliding door is on the other side (forward) of the elevators..but regardless Iโ€™m even worried about the swishing sound of the door ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅด)
  10. Hello we have booked Cabin 9292 on the Reflection. I grabbed the cabin as it has an angled hump balcony (really nice๐Ÿ˜Š). I am now noticing that it is very close to the elevator and stairs. Does anyone know if it is right across from the entranceway to the stairs or if it is a little further down. It is hard to tell on the deck plan. (I did look at the spreadsheet, and no reported noise issues, but I am still concerned) thanks in advance
  11. Just a suggestion...see if you qualify for the one day promo they have today..Offering free internet
