I love my beautician, he has been doing my hair for over 25 years. Havent been in a canoe in years. It was always fun. The care list is very long. We had binoculars and the umbrella in our SS on the Noordam last fall. The umbrella is large and by if myself I prefer something smaller. However DD is in a wheelchair and it covered her and me quite well. We also used it at the Penguin parade in Australia. Kept a few of us dry. more than a smaller one would have. It was a very rainy night. We do bring our own binoculars but the extra pair was fine for our purposes.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dada out there It is a warm and cloudy day at the beach. Our crazy weather continues. I don't fish but I see the fishermen go out every day. I don't tend to panic, always thought you have to keep your wits about you . Stay calm, only way to accomplish anything. No picnics for us today. DH has requested a pork roast for dinner. Good Morning from an overcast but warm day at the beach Crazy weather continues here. High winds and thunderstorms followed by sun and high temps. Yesterday it was thundering like crazy and people stayed on the beach! Salute to Nursing assistants, they work very hard. I really enjoy waterfalls. Airlie Beach was on our trip in 2022 but was cancelled. From the research I did, it is a very small town but it is one of the access points for the Great Barrier Reef. Good Morning from a warm andsunny dayat the beach It has-been crazy weather for the last 2days with more expected this afternoon. Had a tornado touch down just south us with a lot of damage but luckily no injuries. This is very unusual for us. We get heavy thunderstorms but only get tornadoes with hurricanes/tropical storms. Although during the thunderstorm we had wind gusts of 80mph. The doctor told me I cant play golf for another month. Not compaining after reading what others are going thru. I am recovering and better everyday. @smitty34877 I am so sorry to hear about your DH. I will certainly say an extra prayer for both of you. Hope you go to the Cape. It is so nice there. My sister has a place in Dennis. @Heartgrove Hope Sue is feeling better and they can discover what is causing the problem. @summer slope Hope you feel better soon. @dfish Safe tavels and enjoy your weekend with the family. Good Morning from another warm day at the beach We should never forget D Day. My dad and a few of my uncles were there and that is why we all learned to swim. It was the only thing my dad ever said about the invasion and so many soldiers drown. It was his mission that all of us and every kid in my neighborhod learned to swim. He taught all of us. Another rocket launch scheduled this AM. Just received the text that the window opens at 11:42 to 11:53. We will see, its real windy. @Seasick Sailor Hope your toe is ok. Sounds painful @dfishHope your painting goes well. It is soooo hard picking colors. The ocean is really churning today. I cant imagine anyone wanting to go swimming. Good Morning from a bright and sunny day at the weather Rocket launch this AM. Was delayed because of weaher although it appeared clear to me. But they may have been referring to the landing zone. Good Morning from a sunny ( for now) and warm day at the beach We were in Exmouth on our circumnavigation in 2022. I dont think the port was quite ready for visitors. There was a shuttle from the tender port to town and it was a very long wait in the hot sun. Many passengers stayed on the tender and went back to the ship. We and a few others decided to walk as we were told it was only about a mile. They were wrong. It was like walking in a deserted desert. We finally met up with the shuttle and returned to the ship. @Mr. Boston A big congratulations to your DH on his retirement. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit Good Morning from a cloudy and rainy day at the beach June 1st, start of hurricane season and we started this AM with a very heavy thunder storm. A reminder to check the hurricane supplies. Knowing how to do the Heimlick is very important. I have seen it successfully done most recently in the MDR on the Noordam. Say something nice is my motto. They are planning on building 2 new parking garages and a new terminal but it will be awhile. Lots of ships and people. It is more now than before Covid. No HAL ships though.
