how does Princess apply payments when a cruise is not paid in full ?

insurance
is there any order ( trying to see how much FCC we may get back doubled , hopefully not overthinking this as we paid
$ 900 on a cruise fare of $ 1,050 )

I'll just stick with our "double your payment" as FCC if not paid in full ... so we doubled down and turned $ 900 into $ 1,800 FCC
not sure yet how Princess will treat the $ 100 FCC we had applied that they 'gave us' when we changed promotions from
NRD to a refundable deposit ...
I know, I know ... not worth my time, blah, blah, blah

first time cruisers on Princess either get a "blue card" ( non-medallion ships ) or a blue color medallion

i believe that is correct - all "medallions" were blue and you could buy inserts to show your actual captain's circle level
that has changed as I'm sure the "elitest / black color level highest captain's circle level couldn't accept having a "blue" medallion
but "blue" is associated with a first cruise on Princess cruiser

we spent more time in Vines on the SKY, since there was no Crooner's - Take 5 just didn't do it for us
Julius, Ajay and the others took very good care of us in Vines... as did Junela in Good Spirits and Bellini's

according to their website; they are open today. If for some reason you called and the voice recording said they are closed Sundays; the online chat could also be offline until Monday
per your own link 1-800-PRINCESS is closed on Sundays ( Sales - different # is open )
Chat just popped up when I went to login to Princess website, but Chat seems really hit or miss to when it is available

I booked a cruise from a large internet TA back. In October because I was enticed by all the OBC they were giving. I knew there was $100 cancellation fee but never in a million years would I think I would cancel. My final payment is due August 23 but I'm not comfortable with cruising yet so will probably cancel. They said they would give me a voucher to book another cruise but now their cancellation fee is $100 per person. I'm so sorry I got involved with them. I might just forfeit that $100 and use it as a lesson well learned.
maybe they can pay that OBC by re-cooping funds from people who book, but then cancel ??
