SAS, MJS, ECT, will shuttle you from FFL to the port on Miami for $ 15- $ 20 per person, each way.

Cruise port shuttle is $9 pp Hotel to and from airport is $5 per room, per trip.

We have also stayed at many on 17th street and all will hold your luggage. Hyatt Place cruise port, just behind 17th street is our go to hotel now. They will hold your luggage and text you as soon as they have one clean and ready.

It is less than 3 miles airport to cruise port.

Any hotel will hold your luggage for $5, Pick it back up when your ready to head out.

And if your ship comes in late, or is not cleared by customs, BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is why we stay an extra day and chill at a nice hotel. Been on too many cruises and have seen it all.

E.S. is the farthest from the best, as in one of the worst is Fort Lauderdale. All others in this area are better.

We have used it 5-6 times over the past 4 years and have never had a problem. If he just left the airport and you call, he has to make a complete trip to the hotel before coming back to pick you up. If you are at the hotel he will take you back to the airport any time he is there. Never had to wait more than 20 min.

My son and daughter in law just got off the Mardi Gras and said the food was really good in the Main Dinning room. Seemed better than their las cruise 1 year ago.

Ships do not always come into port on time. Also I would check the port schedule, sometimes there are as many as 6-7 ships debarking at the same time.

Airport is 3 miles from the port, and or 10-12 min.

Fly into Ft. Lauderdale, the airport and cruise port are 3 miles apart. Plenty of hotels in the area also. Miami airport to Port Everglades will be 1 hour uber or lift ride.

It has gone up then since our last stay. Still cheap compared to a cab.

Weird or not it is a great discount over booking directly with the hotel. We have used them 5-6 times in the past. Why pay $ 189 when you can get the same room for $ 109 ?????????????

Hyatt Place May1- Sept 30 is only $ 119 for a Friday or Sat stay. Most hotels are double that.

V.T. is by far the best deal out there for Ft. Lauderdale area. We have been sailing from this port now for about 15 years and have been to 3/4 of the hotels along 17th. street. H.P. ranks at the top. IMOP. Value and convenience.

I thought Princess had these wonderful mattress. I was looking forward to them next May for our 10 night cruise.

Hyatt Place 17th street convention center is our go to hotel. We have over 20 cruises and have been to lots of hotels in this area. Its clean, modern, smaller, has breakfast, shuttles to the port and airport. Has parking, and can be booked though, Valuetrips.com. for a great savings. We have used Valuetrips over 5 times never a problem. Booking though them only holds your reservation, no charges until your stay. Close to lots of places to eat also.
