  1. Im checking daily on the upgrade from Classic to Premium and notice that the Classic Package is $59US and the Premium $69 US . Does this now mean the upgrade is back to $10 per day plus the 18% = $11:80 perday as it was a while ago ?

We are Aussies who have purchased  4 CruiseNext Coupons which we would like to transfer to someone who could use the value they possess. ( I removed the numbers below ) The date they are valid to is 12th Nov 2021.

We paid $500 US and they do have a value of $1000US  ($1364AU ) . We are looking to transfer these at cost value i.e - for the original purchase price of $500US . Double the value if  we can arrange the transfer . I am unsure how to do this - but have been advised it is possible and legitimate . Is anyone is interested and familiar with this process  please advise me how to proceed, sadly we are no longer able to take advantage of this double your money offer.  Thinking this is a bargain if you are an NCL Cruiser.

    Valid From Onboard Credit
    CRUISENEXT   A$341.00 11/16/2017 - 11/12/2021
    CRUISENEXT   A$341.00 11/16/2017 - 11/12/2021
    CRUISENEXT   A$341.00 11/16/2017 - 11/12/2021
    CRUISENEXT   A$341.00 11/16/2017 - 11/12/20

We would also sell these in pairs if that is more attractive

Please email me if you are interested at ph8173092@gmail.com - I will then arrange the transfer and work out the payment arrangement to suit .

If you are planning an NCL Cruise the $500 investment doubles your money .

  4. Just curious about a little 4 night cruise in Australia that sails Sydney to Melbourne and back . Wondering if the Casino will be open for the 2 sea days as I assume we dont hit international waters ? . We have OBC which we usually use in the casino - if not then we would spend in the restaurants , upgrade the bev package onboard etc. Any information gratefully appreciated.

  5. Just checked the website -- we are new Elites .

Click on Elite benefits for this ...... Persian Gardens is still a benefit as of today ... if I take this and get refused I will have an issue.

  6. I know this has been answered somewhere  here but I'm blowed if I can find it . ( pardon the phrase :classic_blush: !)

We are on Constellation without any beverage package this time :classic_wacko::classic_sad::classic_ohmy: and was wondering if we can still  bring onboard water and softdrinks on embarkation day ?

    Thanks for any reply ,

  7. I have tried to find a thread regarding ordering drinks in Speciality Restaurants with the classic Beverage Package .Like many cruisers we have the Classic Package included in perks offered .We usually upgrade to Premium , however with the upgrade price now increased to $16.52 US perday ( $22.80 AU ) it means our upgrade on Eclipse in November will cost us $ 396.48 US for the 12 nights ( $540 AU ) . Ouch .

We enjoy Murano and whilst there are a couple of wines there we used to order there inside our Premium Package limit , I dont recall anything near the Classic Package limit . Can anyone advise me if the Classic Package is pretty much useless in the Speciality restaurants unless you pay a hefty upcharge for say a glass of wine ?.:loudcry:

  8. We have happily booked several cruises with two large US Agents in the past ( just 3 nights off Elite ) but now seem to find we can no longer do so ?. - RCCL , Celebrity seem to want us to book locally which means higher prices and significantly less perks for a European Trip :loudcry:, So now we have decided to hit the road for a 3 week drive around Portugal and Spain - a little 3 night cruise on NCL- Barcelona - Rome ( booked locally ) and the a week driving around Tuscany.

With our crappy Aussie Dollar we need to get the best holiday value we can find , especially when it comes to Europe and the US. Too old to backpack now !:'):D

Lucky Americans get the best deals when it comes to cruising for sure .

  9. Service charges are part of the fees like taxes and such and IMO should only be removed if you do not use the service (not possible on the ship) or if the service was unsatisfactory in which case it can be reduced.

I dont think Cruise Ship Service /Gratuity charges are " like Taxes " - the very nature of such means they are discretionary here in Australia. If they are fees - then add them to the fare - if they are not then they are optional - . My opinion .

  10. "We decided to eat at Sushi on Five instead. I miss Bistro on Five, the crepes were always excellent on both our previous cruises. I know they did the replacement as Bistro was not earning its keep but, on this cruise anyway, Sushi doesn't appear to be well-frequented. We have eaten here twice but every time we have walked past the venue, it has been near empty. "

Just rechecking on an earlier question here if you dont mind --- was Sushi On 5 only a la Carte , or available as part of any Dining Package or any set price or discount offered ?

Thanks again for your posts - the menus look excellent.

  11. We are on Constellation for 14 nights and have a 5 night Dining Package . With just 2 designated Specialty Restaurants we were hoping Sushi on 5 may be included now ? I have read several posts here on C.C that suggest it may be but with a $30 limit - which seems a bit mean ?

Also read here that they offer a set $30 charge for whatever you like to eat which sounds better ?

If not these 2 options , I have read a post saying Sushi on 5 is not included , has no set meal price, but when not busy offer a 30% discount ?

Does anyone have a recent experience at Sushi on 5 - ( yes I know I should wait till we get on board , but pre-planning here on C.C is half the fun .;)?

  12. Thanks for the posts and review - we are on Constellation Feb 19 .

I have asked in a separate post about Sushi on 5 - Can you enquire if Sushi on 5 is included in the Dining Packages - we have a 5 night package ? I have read a couple of posts saying it is but with a $30 limit and another that says it was not included but offered as a $30 charge for whatever you would like to order ?I'm thinking it could get out of hand if we just ordered a la carte !$$$

Hope the cruise continues to be fantastic for you all .:D
