  1. ITS HAPPENED AGAIN , this time with log in details not recognized . There is another thread again concerning this issue on CC and I tried to log in just now only to receive this message .

  2. I had that same message for my last X cruise. That "on hold for 24 hours" lasted for at least 2 weeks. Finally got my TA involved; he got that taken care of. Right now everything is working ok for me but there is no doubt that X has a very "unfriendly" website.

     

     

    Took your advice and had our TA in the USA call Celebrity and BINGO ! its fixed :D Hopefully it will stay that way.

    I thought the website issues were a thing of the past after all those weeks trying to get Celebritys attention on all those threads . Yesterday and again this morning I have one reservation that seems OK , booked here with an Aussie TA and one cruise booked with a US TA that now shows OnHold and will expire in 24hrs. Go Figure. The TA reckons the deposit is paid so :confused:

    We originally had a migration planned for 9/16, but this has been moved to this evening. We expect the fixes to be ready by 9/18. We're hoping that this resolves many issues that guests have been experiencing.

     

    WOO HOO !! Its the 18th today in Australia -- I cant wait to be able to access my reservations and send Celebrity some more money ! I'm holding my breath:eek:

    You are not alone as you will have found out now and there is comfort in the knowledge that others are being , and have been for weeks now , suffering the Celebrity Website just as you are . The good news is that it will all be fixed today ! That is what we have been told here on CC and we have great faith in that :rolleyes:

    You may also receive an email where someone will "reach out " to you - or you may be told that at a certain date , you will be able to actually see the reservation you have paid for . You may also be told that pigs might fly - now that is more believable for sure.

    Seriously , I do hope the Celebrity people get this fixed pronto - it is wrecking what should be a fantastic pre-cruise experience -- which is all part of the adventure.

    Good luck and dont hold your breath.:D

  6. I saw this post yesterday and emailed Celebrity, I received this response today, which to me clarifies what the issue is and what is being done to correct it, and what can be done as an alternate till the problem is corrected. THANK YOU CELEBRITY

    We sincerely regret the difficulty you have experienced with your "My Celebrity" account and want to add some clarity to the situation. We have recently integrated our reservation system with upgrades that will make the booking process easier. As you are aware, we have been experiencing issues and glitches with the new system. One of the problems that we have been experiencing is that guests booked in a travel agent group are unable to access their reservations in their "My Celebrity" accounts.

     

    Our IT team is aware of the problem and is working diligently to correct it. They expect that the issue should be resolved by 09/16/14. We ask that you have patience and understanding while we work through these issues as we believe that in the long run this new system will be beneficial to both us and our guests.

     

    In the meantime, we recommend that you not use this application when accessing your booking online. Instead, please enter your cruise information in the "Not Registered" section. If you need assistance with booking shore excursions or any other cruise enhancement, please contact our Cruise Enhancement desk at 800-722-5941.

     

    Mr. Tolliver, thank you for choosing Celebrity Cruises. We look forward to welcoming you onboard the Celebrity Silhouette in November.

  7. Having been advised that Celebrity are Reaching Out to me , I would love to add a link here to the Four Tops - " ReachOut , I'll Be There " to provide a little background music while I wait ! Please sing this as you read here !.:rolleyes: Darling Reach Out ........... to me ! I'll be there .... to love and comfort you ...

    Seriously , I do feel so very sorry for the cruisers who are sailing soon and have not been able to enjoy the build up and anticipation that the precruise online "fun" provides . Looking at the shore excursions , planning which specialty restaurant you should book or perhaps buying a dining package. Heavens -- spending money with Celebrity !! Showing friends and family what you are doing and where you are going .. The build up is an integral part of cruising for us. We have a few months to wait for the cruise already booked and having given up on ever seeing that reservation online this Celebrity cruise does not have the same excitement as past sailing have had.

    Thus - We will not go through this again for the additional March cruise holiday we have planned and sadly have jumped ship . No big deal I know , but all the talk from Celebrity and no action means they have failed to live up to the standards they profess and therefore are no-longer the Cruiseline they were. The website is a sad joke - asking cruisers to email or phone to an address provided on CC but never acting upon this is inexcusable. I wonder if Celebrity realize how much revenue their incompetence is costing the company and while some shareholders smuggly suggest all is well with the share price - perhaps the future may not be so bright if the internet is proving to be such a problem for them in this day and age.

    Thank heavens Celebities IT people are not in-charge of any Government agency or department . Imagine that :eek:

  8. I had the same experience (couldn't my web reservation). I emailed them on Monday at the email address given web_reservations_cci@celebritycruises.com , and and Tuesday they emailed back this response, and what I found in their response is true. For now as previous posts have mentioned you need to view your reservations using the Not Registered option, and hopefully as they mention, it should be resolved on the 16th of September

    We forwarded both emails sent to concerns, but we established a new email address and phone number to help resolve these issues.

    I am reaching out , reaching out !!! No-one is reaching back ! :eek: Sad really , pathetic is probably a better description. Not being able to access online the reservation that you have paid for is a disgrace in this day and age . Telling me that it is the incorrect number when I am looking at the correct digits is insulting. This has been weeks of aggravation , many similar threads, Celebrity post reassurances and promises --- with no solution .

    I thought you might have left . Sadly Celebrity have not reached out . Its a long way across the water to here in the Land Of Oz and thats where Celebrity IT live for sure . I still now get the error message that I do not have the correct reservation number . Funnily I can see the reservation with the exact number I typed in . The Land Of OZ .

    I cancelled the cruise booked yesterday by the way . We are now looking at Princess again . I will miss the martini bar but we have had great sailings on Princess previously and at least I can see the reservations .

I have just made another Celebrity cruise reservation for March 14 with a TA so I must be crazy or masochistic at least .:eek: Hopefully the website can be up and running properly and we can just see what we are paying for and be able to add to the cruise experience we expect from Celebrity. Pass me another valium

  12. I must be crazy but we booked another cruise this morning and I realize that I may never be able to see it on line . :eek: Just as I still cannot see the previous reservation. I have gone from :mad:to:( to:mad: and now :p to Celebrity

    Surely the website will be up and running soon and we can all enjoy the precruise stuff happily. OK , now I am :mad: again . Maybe I'll cancel the new cruise.
