I just saw something in the app about WOW bands. Are these worth the cost? My son and I are doing a B2B on Oasis this summer. The rest of the family is joining us for the second leg. Also, I would assume that only one room can be linked to each band, correct? We often like to have keys to each others rooms so I am thinking we would need to have key cards anyway.

My first thought was Wow-that’s not too bad! Even with the increase. Big difference in NYC area compared to some other areas -

Thanks for sharing! Still cheaper than a car service for us! -
Considering an Oasis Lagoon cabana for our trip this summer and have a few questions. It mentions towels in the cabana- do they replace them as needed throughout the day for dry towels or should we bring extra? Do they still come with the big blue lounge float? I don’t see them available to rent anymore and was wondering if they still have them. It mentions an attendant for drinks. Do they bring food as well? Is there a menu? Is it included? What types of foods are there? Are the cabanas assigned or do we choose when we arrive? Thank for anything you can share!

If Kids Sail Free.. Why did the price go up??
bayportkat replied to expectthebest's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Also check the dates! I thought I was going crazy until I realized that some of the dates I was looking at weren't included in the Kids Sail Free! -
Thank you so much!! You just made my son’s night!!!

Does anyone know if there is shuffleboard on Oasis? I wasn't able to find it anywhere on the deck plans, but was hoping someone here could let me know for sure. My kids loved playing on Freedom when we cruised several years ago. Thanks

I have a related question- if we are B2B but changing rooms and in 2 different rooms on the second leg (traveling alone with my son on first leg and the rest of the family is joining the second leg, so my son will be in a room with another family member more than likely), will this be an issue? My son is 10. Beginning to wonder if I will have to book us together for both legs, though I wanted to book myself as a single passenger in double to get the extra points on my account.

This is what I had to do for myself and my husband as per someone through the Crown and Anchor line and it worked for both of us (two different issues with our accounts-mine wasn’t showing upon login for some reason and my husbands wasn’t accurate). They were both accurate on the agents end and updated as soon as I re-entered the numbers.

We are making our way up the ranks very slowly. After reading a few posts, I have a few questions about the best way to book to gain points toward our next level. First, did I read correctly that spouses have the C&A level of the highest level partner? So if I am emerald, but my husband is gold for example, he would have emerald status? I do understand that once we get much higher he has to earn the top tiers himself. Second, we have a family of 5 and lately have been getting 3 rooms with 2, 2 and 1. Does the person in the single room get double points? Lastly, if there are double points for the single room, would this make the most sense for our summer cruises? I am traveling with my son for a 7 night trip then for the second week, the rest of the family will join us. Would it make the most sense to have myself in the single room to gain points faster since I will have the 7 extra from the first week? Or does it not really matter? Thanks!

Just a thought- I happened to be looking at my credit card "perks" the other day for something else, but noticed that there was information about travel insurance. It may not cover the person who is ill, but may cover the companion and they could recoup some of the money paid out. May at least be something to look into. I hope that things improve and the party can travel!

That is my plan. Was just curious if anyone had seen the prices lower or expected them to go lower!

Sailing on Oasis this summer and was wondering what the lowest price we can expect to see for the soda package.? It think we got it last year for $7.99 per day. Seeing it for $9.99 per day now. I know prices have gone up all around so wasn’t sure if we may see it drop before our trip in August. Will continue to check. Also, what might be the lowest I might see for the refreshment package? Thanks!

Understanding the internet package

How does a travel router work? Would you just need the one device option and run your devices through the router? Then you can only use internet in the room correct? -

Good thought! Can do it if it comes up for first leg! Something to look forward to. -
Thank you. Maybe we saw the line for no reservations. Though there was only one line and no signs that we noticed. I guess we will stick with early dining for now!

Housekeeping moving to once a day?
bayportkat replied to Donsyb's topic in Royal Caribbean International
So if that is the case, I wonder if we can request late morning or late “evening” (we have early dinner-so would have to be after we leave for dinner)? We love to sleep in/lay around in the mornings. Have always had steward come late morning and then when we left for dinner. Do they still have the magnets to indicate you are in the room or if it is empty? I don’t like the idea of once a day but would at least like it when it is convenient to me rather than the cruise line. -
We have always had early dining. Last year, when we left after our dinner, the line outside the dining room was super long. Are those people who don’t have reservations? Or with reservations waiting for tables? Do you bypass that line if you have reservations? We have always done earl dining because I want no part of waiting in line for a table. Curious if we are misinterpreting how My Time Dining works

Thanks for all of the information! I just may have to go on a shopping spree before our trip if I decide to do the b2b!
